TMZ reports Adrian Peterson's two-year-old son is in critical condition after he was allegedly severely beaten by the man dating the child's mother.
This is a followup on this morning's post that Peterson was dealing with a "tragic" personal situation in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Peterson remains in South Dakota. 27-year-old Joseph Patterson has reportedly been charged with aggravated felony assault and battery of an infant. Peterson's son was unresponsive when medical personnel arrived at the scene Wednesday night. He has reportedly suffered severe head injuries. Keep Peterson and his son in your prayers.

Whats the over/under for AP rushing yards this week? 250? He is going to run even angrier... if thats possible

I was and still am concerned about him even playing. If he plays as planned, I'd say you're probably correct Jared, he could go off, big time.

I'm staggered he is playing. I know everyone deals with grief differently but it just doesn't sit right with me at all (no, i'm not playing against him this week)

I totally agree with you guys, no way I would be playing. I picked up a few Gerharts with that line of thinking... never know right?

We don't even know if AP had a relationship with the kid. It was apparently from a woman he paid to keep quiet. I am not trying to be insensitive, but maybe that has something to do with it.
