It's 11 degrees right now with a 15 mph wind and it's COLD. I can't even imagine what it's going to feel like on Sunday night when it's -15 with a wind chill of 40 below. Paul, I'm not going to find out as I'm watching from the comforts of home. This cold front is ABSURD.

People hopefully will realize that the Ice Bowl was a noon start, but yes it was -13 degrees at kickoff. I remember my dad going and my mom refusing to go that morning, so dad had to take a neighbor friend. Now that I feel this weather, I don't blame my mom at all.

Sunday's game will be played at night and it will feel extra cold without any sun. Aluminum bleachers to boot, plus concrete flooring with snow. I love Lambeau Field, but this one could be downright nasty. I can just imagine what the Niners think not tomorrow when they land -- because it will be 27 tomorrow -- but on Sunday when they wake up. It will be below zero all day with 30-50 below temps for the wind chill.

Why do we live up here?? I could do this job anywhere!!!

I wonder if the 49ers will still be greeted by cheeseheads mooning their buses or too cold 4 that?

Randy Moss is such a joker. I'd love to see one time that Packer fans mooned the team bus. That story was so contrived it wasn't even funny, but the national press and everyone else just took it as gospel.

This game should have been played here today. It was 24 degrees this morning and will be a high of 29. Then at 6 pm the arctic blast starts arriving and temperatures will fall below zero by midnight. Pretty crazy. The NFL should have done some homework before assigning games last Sunday.

I think the NFL got exactly what they wanted...a huge media bonanza about how cold it will be and how it might set a record. It's without a doubt the talk of Wildcard Weekend. There will be more people tuning in just to watch what it's like to play in a game with possible historically low temps.

Yes, I know it's a potentially dangerous exposure factor and many fans have chosen to stay away because of it. But the NFL has always chosen money over safety, and it's the TV ad revenue that butters the NFL's toast, not ticket sales.
