2013 Classic & Primetime League Champions

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our 2013 NFFC Classic and Primetime League champions. When you've won a league title in these two formats, you've really EARNED it. The money is great, but you deserve added respect for these titles as well.

This year we really had some historic moments in the NFFC. We had Jared Danielsen win two more Classic League titles, giving him a total of 6 Classic titles during his career with us. Jules McLean won another Classic League title and now has won 5 Classic titles. Eddie Gillis and Matthew Bayley each won Classic titles this year and each now have four Classic titles. This is really some great work all and you should be commended as the 14-team format is not an easy format to dominate in. All of you have had dominating performances.

In the NFFC Primetime, Tyson & Shawn Siegele had an unbelievable season, winning FIVE Primetime league titles. They won two Primetime league titles last year, so they now have seven league titles in the last two years. Amazing. I don't care how many leagues you enter, winning that many titles against this tough competition is really saying something. They also finished 1st and 2nd overall in the Primetime this year, so amazing job guys. Chad Schroeder also won a pair of Primetime league titles this year and now has 4 Primetime league titles, while Michael Edelman, Dave Clum, Chris Eibl and Chris Vaccaro each won Primetime teams to give each of them 3 Primetime league titles over their careers. Good job all.

I will update our career listings and records on this thread, but let's get the league champs posted for posterity first. Congrats to all of our 2013 league champs:

I posted this after Week 13's regular season, so I might as well include that data here:

It was an interesting mix of results in the NFFC national contests this year as far as where the desired draft spots turned out to be. In the NFFC Classic, more than half of the Top 20 teams came from the Top 4 spots. In the NFFC Primetime, most of the Top 20 spots came from the middle draft spots. And in the Rotowire Online Championship, half of the Top 20 teams came from the bottom 3 spots, so it was truly a mixed bag of results this year.

Here's a look at all three contests through Week 13 and where the Top 20 teams drafted from:

NFFC Classic Top 20 Teams Through Week 13:
Draft Spot - No. of Teams In Top 20
No. 1 - 1 team
No. 2 - 2 teams
No. 3 - 3 teams
No. 4 - 5 teams
No. 5 - 1 team
No. 6 - 3 teams
No. 7 - 1 team
No. 8 - 1 team
No. 9 - 0 teams
No. 10 - 2 teams
No. 11 - 0 teams
No. 12 - 0 teams
No. 13 - 0 teams
No. 14 - 1 team

** 7 of the first 9 spots drafted from different spots: 6, 14, 4, 6, 6, 10, 5, 3, 7
** 11 of the Top 20 teams drafted from the Top 4 spots and only one Top 20 team came from the last four draft spots. Only 11 of 14 spots are represented in the Top 20. The top teams from those four spots outside the Top 20 include:
No. 9 = 30th overall
No. 12 = 38th overall
No. 13 = 29th overall
No. 11 = 51st overall

NFFC Primetime Top 20 Teams Through Week 13:
Draft Spot - No. of Teams In Top 20
No. 1 - 1 team
No. 2 - 1 team
No. 3 - 4 teams
No. 4 - 1 team
No. 5 - 3 teams
No. 6 - 2 teams
No. 7 - 2 teams
No. 8 - 2 teams
No. 9 - 1 team
No. 10 - 0 teams
No. 11 - 0 teams
No. 12 - 3 teams

** All 5 of the Top 5 teams drafted from different spots: 12, 7, 9, 3, 5.
** Only 10 of 12 spots are represented in the Top 20. Top teams not in the Top 20 included:
No. 10 = 23rd overall
No. 11 = 35th overall

Rotowire Online Championship Top 20 Teams Through Week 13:
Draft Spot - No. of Teams In Top 20
No. 1 - 1 team
No. 2 - 1 team
No. 3 - 2 teams
No. 4 - 1 team
No. 5 - 0 teams
No. 6 - 1 team
No. 7 - 1 team
No. 8 - 2 teams
No. 9 - 1 team
No. 10 - 3 teams
No. 11 - 1 team
No. 12 - 6 teams

** The Top 7 teams all drafted from different spots: 3, 10, 6, 8, 7, 12, 9.
** 11 of 12 spots are represented in the Top 20, with only No. 5 unrepresented. The Top No. 5 team is 30th overall. The No. 12 spot had 6 of the Top 20 teams and the bottom three draft spots had 10 of the Top 20 spots. Interesting.

** It's interesting that the most successful draft spot in the NFFC Classic was the No. 4 spot with five Top 20 teams. However, in the NFFC Primetime and Rotowire Online Championship there was just one team in the Top 20 from the No. 4 spot in each contest. There were also more Top 20 teams from the final spot in those three leagues (10) than from the Top 2 spots combined (7).

All in all, it looks like the balance of power was pretty equal among all draft spots as no single spot dominated throughout our contests. We kind of like it that way, so no complaints here. Good luck all the rest of the way.

Love these lists Greg, especially the draft position ones, thanks for making them! Also, I believe you only have the half Chicago/half online Primetime league on there right? Not the Chicago Primetime that everyone was there for?

Sorry about that Jared. I've added it above now. Thanks and congrats. That should be complete now.
