NFFC Magazine Auction League

Over the last two years, we've had a good group of NFFC die-hards who have participated in the NFFC Magazine Auction League, giving a first glimpse of dollar values to our readers. My goal is to host this league again in our magazine, but right now there isn't an industry software available to host this auction league. FantasyAuctioneer.com was sold to RotoExperts.com this fall and they are updating their site and may not have it available before we go to press in mid-May. CBS Sportsline.com has a very nice auction league site, but that also won't be ready for a few months.
So stay tuned for now my hearty band of 14 auction mates. I'll know in the next two weeks if we can pull this off for the first issue or the second issue. My hope is that we can still do this for the first issue, but if not we'll definitely do it by the second issue. Stay tuned, I'm calling my friends at RotoExperts.com now.

Myfantasyleague.com has a version which will do a slow auction. It isn't the same but might work.

Wayne I've used the MFL version a few times. As Wayne said, it isn't quite the same, but it does work very well.
Please, count me in, if there is still room.
Thank you,
Mark

I will know tomorrow if the FantasyAuctioneer site is ready for us or not. I'll post here.

FantasyAuctioneer.com will NOT have their site done in time for our first magazine league auction. Neither does Sportsline.com. I'd rather not go with a slow auction, so it looks like we will host this auction for our second issue and do it in mid-June. I'll give invites to all 14 owners from last year and fill in with whomever can't be with us in the NFFC this year from that list. Sorry we couldn't get it done for the first issue, but I promise we'll do it for the second one.

Greg, you know me and auctions. I'm in, no matter what date or time.
P.S. Brady WILL go for $34-$40. I don't care what happened last year. Let it be written. Let it be done. 4/22/09

My teams in this auction league have been a major embarrassment for me and I would love some redemption this season.......would the group dare let me participate again?
I promise to only bid on guys over 30!
BTW, what's up fellow NFFC'ers.....all 12 of you reading right now? How's life? Ready for the NFL draft? I'm really curious to see where a few of those positional players end up.....Maclin, Moreno, Harvin, and of course Crabtree.
FYI: if Moreno falls to far, somebody is getting a major steal.
Hope all is well with everyone.
