If you drafted him, you knew the risk.

Wouldn't be shocked if he is kin to Darren McFadden somewhere down the tree. ;)

Jason Witten has never missed a game and has played 11 seasons. Ellington has had 3 issues with his foot, and is only in his 2nd season.

Are you trying to say Ellington isn't a bigger risk?

You are absolutely right Billy! :D
Jason Witten has never missed a game & is one of the most reliable TE'S Ever! :D
Are we talking TE'S HERE? :? :?
Or are we talking players in general? :?
Here is a list of names I'M sure you can relate to?

All of these RB'S have missed significant time due to injury?

Peterson, Charles, Forte, L. Bell, D. Murray, A. Foster, R. Bush, R. Jennings, D Martin, S. Vereen, B. Tate, K. Moreno, R. Matthews, M. Drew, D. McFadden, T Richardson, A. Bradshaw, J. Stewart, C.J Spiller, R. Rice?

Now we can add Ellington & Lacy to the list?

Who's next?

I rest my case. :D

Please don't add Lacy to this list just yet.

Tim,

Chris Johnson has played 6 seasons and not played in ONE game (not even sure if that was due to injury, it was his rookie year).

I agree ANYONE can get hurt (and watch.....Chris Johnson and Jason Witten will this year! :o ). HOWEVER, if you draft a team of DeMarco Murray, Andre Ellington, Julio Jones, Percy Harvin, Jordan Reed, etc. and say they don't have more injury risk than other players.......I have some swamp land in Iowa I would like to sell you.

I'm not saying I won't take those players, but if I take a Murray or Ellington, I generally am looking for a better RB2 or RB3 earlier, because I am very confident they will miss SOME time. I mean lets be honest......if it was guaranteed that Julio Jones was playing 16 games, he would be drafted in the top 5 picks of EVERY draft. He is going in the late 1st round/early 2nd because he is an injury risk.

Other big surprises, besides Ellington getting hurt:
1) ISIS likes to kill people.
2) The sun rises in the east.
3) Kate Upton is an attractive lady.

Please, no whining about injuries.
