Draft Slots of Lowest 50 Teams
You guessed it. Gekko did the research and it again supports his claim that drafting early (on the average) leads to more fantasy success.
My team and I looked at the BOTTOM 50 teams in the NFFC. Guess what the avg draft slot was...9.1 (if draft slots were all equal the number should be around 7.5). Oh ya, in the BOTTOM 50 teams, guess how many drafted out of the #1 hole? Answer = ZERO. Okay, how about out of the #2 hole? Answer = ZERO.
So to recap, after Week 8
Avg draft slot of team in the TOP 50 = 6.5
Avg draft slot of team in the BOTTOM 50 = 9.1
Huh? I guess draft slots don't matter?

To clarify, you can win from any slot and lose from any slot. To win you must have skill and luck. To win from a later draft slot takes more skill and more luck than winning from an earlier slot.

Gekko, as much as I have grown to respect you, please...... DROP IT!!
You proclaimed yourself as the greatest fantasy player before the season, so you SHOULD be able to win from ANY spot. Otherwise, don't talk the smack if you can't back it up!
This draft spot stuff is getting WAY overplayed!

Avg draft slot of team in the TOP 50 = 7.0
Avg draft slot of team in the BOTTOM 50 = 8.0

Gekko, it is not so much about you wasting the space on the board, as much as you proclaiming yourself as "the greatest thing since sliced bread" before the season, and then coming up with excuse after excuse because of your draft position. Are we all to assume that if you had the 1st pick that you would be the best team here? (since you said you were better than everyone before the season!)
Here is a tip..... If your gonna be THAT confident, you better be VERY good no matter where you draft from!
Just a tip for the future..... THANKS!
