I have been playing fantasy football for 7 years and have yet to have a kicker make a single field goal while starting on my roster. Yep! Not even one in over 100 games. This time, I only needed an extra point to win. Just one extra point on Monday Night! Nope! J. Reed with the goose! From now on, I am starting the worst possible kicker available on my roster each week. I am also looking for a league without kickers...just too much luck....or in my case...too little luck involved in the kicker selections. OK. I have vented. BTW, did I mention that I hate kickers!

This blows my mind, you have yet to have a FG from any of your starting kickers in 7 yrs???? If you would leave the same kicker in for a few consecutive weeks, he's bound to make at least one FG...try it, you might like it.

Is that why you have the moniker Blue_Foot???......kinda like "blue balls"...almost get that release/FG, yet it doesn't happen?

This guy can't mean that literally. If so, he must be drafting 5 kickers every year and has really, REALLY bad luck.

In a related matter, I've started 3 RB's the last 2 weeks and have yet to score a rushing TD. Hopefully this trend will end soon or I'm really going to start to hate RB's.

Hey Blue - next year draft a kicker from the team with the 1st or 2nd pick in the NFL draft and I guarantee you'll get some field goals, or you can reach early and grab Matt Stover. :rolleyes:

Its true. 100 plus games and I have yet to get a fantasy field goal. I do have amazingly bad luck. I have also lost all 3 times I have gotten 4 aces in 7-card stud. Beaten by the A-5 club straight each time! I could keep the same kicker each week...that is true. But, that would be giving up on the percentages (and trying to win) just to finally get a FG. I am going to continue trying to get 4 FGs in a game. The fact that I haven't got one yet is not going to discourage me. I will be switching kickers again this week! Wish me luck! And yes....I got the nick name "Blue Foot" when I reached 50 games without a FG.

Picked Longwell real late out of kickers, had him ranked 2nd he throws a td 2 fg's and i win for the second week in a row without my 2nd and 4th pic, TJ housh and Portis...

Dude, you having not made the right call in 7 years should suggest that your system is quite possibly flawed and/or your percentages are slightly askewed.

Suggestion: This week try the "Costanza". Do the opposite. Make a list of kickers you like this week and make your selection from the bottom of the list. You think "kicker X" will get shut out this week. Bid for him and start him. Just try it, you really have nothing to lose.

The only way I could see this being even remotely possible is if you are replacing your kicker on a weekly basis and even then I have to think you'd get a FG eventually. Are you sure you're not mistaken about this or just exaggerating for effect?

It goes back to his remark about the "old boy" network getting the high draft slots based on tenure.

I hope his Blue_Foot is covered by high boots because it's getting deeper and deeper in here.

Absolutely impossible...liar.

Maybe he starts injured kickers.

Last I checked...they still play single deck 7 card stud.
