We are again offering the industry's only main event doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 4th, giving you two different formats to excel in. The NFFC Classic (14 teams) starts at 1 p.m. EST and the NFFC Primetime (12 teams) follows at 6 p.m. EST.

For the third straight year we are offering a prize to anyone who can win both overall titles. In 2008, 11 owners had a shot at both overall titles after qualifying for the NFFC Classic and Primetime Championship Rounds. Last year a total of 182 owners competed in both main events and of that total 16 qualified for both Championship Rounds and a shot at the $75,000 cash bonus for winning both competitions. So if anyone can win the Classic and the Primetime overall titles, they would win a total of $150,000 in prizes and an additional $75,000 cash bonus.

The cost of competing in both main events is $2,250 and we are waiving the Events Fees of $100 and co-manager fees of $100 if you sign up by June 15th. So far we have 34 teams signed up for both main events. In 2008, 162 teams competed in both main events and last year 182 teams competed in both main events. I'll update the list by city here so that everyone can see who they are competing against for the $75,000 cash bonus. Good luck all and please take advantage of the early-bird bonus if you know you're competing this year:

It's good to see that we now have 45+ teams signed up for both ends of the main event doubleheader among the various cities. I've updated the list above today and will continue to stay on this as signups come in. Last year we had 182 teams doing both main events and hopefully we'll top that figure this year. Remember that there is no Events Fees or Co-Manager fees if you sign up for both by June 15th. Thanks all for the quick start and let's keep the momentum rollin'.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few prizes for combined point totals for those who join both main events.

Why not crown an Overall Champ based on total points?

> Top 3-5 get a free online team next year?
> Magazine packages?
> Fanball credits to play their other games?
> Etc...

All those in favor.....

All those in favor..... Yes, we did that last year Rob and we are doing that again this year. We had all 182 teams in a Combined Standings page last year and we awarded two free entries to the overall winner, which was Darren Fecich. He won entries into this year's Classic and Primetime events by winning the NFFC Main Event Combined Standings. We will do that again. I don't think you were aware of that because you had a wedding to attend to last year!! ;)

We also had Combined Standings and prizes for the Classic and Online Championship and have that again in the plan. If they aren't on the individual contest pages I need to get them entered. But you are right, we are trying all we can to incentivize folks into playing in multiple main events, multiple events with the Combined Standings and prizes. It makes the year more enjoyable when you can see how owners are able to do in multiple league formats.

Thanks Greg, posting that somewhere might be a good idea and help folks make decisions on what to play, especially when you offer package deals with a June deadline.
