After reading some of the surprises that people have been sharing, I am curious as to where the first TE went in the drafts? Also anyone see someone choose one other than Gates first? Granted this would be akin to someone not taking LT2 #1 overall but ya never know...

Round 3 Team 7, almost took him at 10, but passed for Colston. And I would love to know who was the fool taking anyone over Gates first. Someone may have him ranked something other then first, but they had to know they would get there guy after Gates.

Hey Scott

In my league in Vegas he went mid third round - sort of where I expect him to go most of the time - mid to late 3rd round.

See you next weekend

3.3 in Chicago 4 was where Gates went. The team that took Gates took his first wr at 6.12, Cotchery then added Chambers, Kennison and James Jones to round out his wr core.

Gonzo went at 4.2 and then it wasn't until 5.8 when Heap went followed by Winslow at 6.1 and Shockey to me at 6.3. Cooley at 6.10 completed the TE run in our league.

Hey, Scott...if I recall, you got him at 4.4 in our league (Chicago 1), didn't you? That's got to be one of the latest spots that Gates has dropped. Nice value.

Yes it was 4.4 although the fact I took a TE this early still shocks me but it seemed like value at the time. We shall see...
