Okay, we're getting down to crunch time to finalize our biggest money leagues on Sunday, Aug. 31st and I want to let everyone know what's going on so that we can make smart decisions and allow everyone to invest their dollars if we don't pull both of these leagues off. Here's the situation:

We have 11 teams definitely committed to the NFFC Ultimate League on Sunday morning as Mike Ward grabbed a team yesterday. It's possible that one of the Super participants could move into this league and there's at least one other owner interested in this league. So we're getting closer to filling this one.

We're now at 10 teams in the NFFC Super Draft League on Sunday afternoon with the addition of SNAKE to the $2,500 event and one more owner looking to get in. But I think two of these owners may have trouble doing it on Sunday afternoon. Let's see what everyone says about this one and find out how many owners we have when all is said and done.

Is there a better date to run the Super so everyone can do it??? Just a thought.

Anyway, here's the list of owners and let's finalize both events over the next 17 days and get it done. Thanks all.

We would prefer to only do the draft live in Vegas, but understand that may not happen. If we had to make it work on Monday or Tuesday I am sure we could make it happen. Prefer doing the 14 teamer as well, but again we may be in on a 12 teamer.

If it doesn't work out for you, we have other options for ya!! :D

Chad Silverstein has thrown his hat into the ring for the Sunday afternoon NFFC Super Draft League, bringing us to 11 there if we can hold things together. Anyway, there still seems to be interest in this event, so we'll keep it here for now and make some decisions in the next 7-10 days. There's a lot of moving parts with everyone's schedules and I'll do my best to call everyone and get with them. Thanks all.

Okay, we've made a push for a full Ultimate Draft League today and we'll keep pushing for a full Super Draft League too. First things first.

Paul Clein (Shrink Attack) has a mid-afternoon flight out of Las Vegas on Sunday, so if we host the Super Draft League on Sunday afternoon he can't do that. He has volunteered to grab an Ultimate League team to become our 12th team there. Dave Cushard is also interested in joining the Ultimate League as Team No. 13, giving us ONE OPEN SPOT in the Ultimate League. Dyv may also grab a Super Draft League spot if we get close to 14 teams there, so I'll tentatively add him to that list.

So if we can find one more owner for the Ultimate League, we'll close that out. We need 3-4 more for the Super League and I'll keep working on that as well. Thanks all.

Now we're doing good here. Matthew Bund likes this doubleheader better than our Saturday doubleheader, so he's going to grab a Super Draft League team to go along with his Ultimate Draft League team in Las Vegas. That tentatively brings us to 12 teams for this league.

I'll keep calling around and see what happens. I like it, I like it. :D

Just a note that the NFFC Ultimate and Super Leagues use the same league setup, scoring rules, 3RR, KDS and style of payouts, but the playoffs are different. The Ultimate League allows six teams in the playoffs and then uses h2h matchups in Weeks 14, 15 and 16. The Super League also allows six teams in the playoffs, but each playoff team carries their weekly scoring average into Week 14 and adds their totals from Weeks 14, 15 and 16 to determine the league champ and the top three money finishers.

Two solid and fun setups, at a price!! :D
