Okay, it is official: We are hosting one day's events in Las Vegas on the Second Weekend at the MGM Park, formerly called the Monte Carlo.

For the second straight year, the Bellagio has a full convention from Monday through Thursday after Labor Day weekend. It's unusual after a holiday to have a full convention conference, but all meeting room space there is filled during that time. In fact, luckily we have the Grand ballrooms on Friday and Saturday as this convention has released only those rooms for the weekend. And WE TOOK THEM!!

MGM Park will be the host site for the following events ONLY on Thursday, Sept. 6th:

9 am PT - NFFC 14-Team Super Auction (Richmond 1 ballroom)
9 am PT - NFFC Primetime (Richmond 2 ballroom)
Noon PT - NFFC Classic (Richmond 2 ballroom)
2 pm PT - NFFC Primetime (Kickoff Gridiron League 2 (Richmond 1 ballroom)

Other events will be held at the Bellagio that day. They include:

1 pm PT - NFFC 14-Team Kickoff Gridiron League (Executive Penthouse Suite, Spa Tower)
4 pm PT - NFFC Viewing Party (Executive Penthouse Suite, Spa Tower)
9 pm PT - NFFC 12-Team Kickoff Gridiron League 1 (Executive Penthouse Suite, Spa Tower)

The MGM Park is the former Monte Carlo and it has added a huge convention center in the past year. The hotel has been upgraded to a premiere hotel with more convention space and will work fine for us. I know it's an inconvenience, but it's an easy Tram ride from the Bellagio. The MGM Park is the second stop on the Tram from the Bellagio. Just get off the Tram, take the escalator downstairs and turn right to go into the Monte Carlo. I will post exact directions to the Griffith ballrooms once I get out there.

I know it's not ideal, but we retain the Bellagio as our host hotel for two weekends and make the Thursday events work again. Look for more direct instructions to the ballrooms once the leagues are full and we get closer to this date. We'll make sure everyone knows where to go and we'll have food and beverage available for each live draft there. Thanks all and sorry for the dual locations again, but it will work well. I promise.

Will the same bartender for the NFBC viewing party also be working the NFFC party? That guy really put in some good work considering he was never tipped.

The NFFC's Second Weekend officially kicks off tonight at the Bellagio in the Executive Penthouse Suite with an 8 pm PT NFFC Primetime. We will meet at the Spa Tower by 7:30 PT to get everyone upstairs and set for the draft. Thanks and good luck all.

Thursday's drafts and auction will be held at the MGM Park -- formerly known as the Monte Carlo. We are in the Richmond 1 and 2 ballrooms in their Convention Center. The Convention Center can be found just off the Lobby Check-in area and the Richmond ballrooms are on the first floor. As you enter the Convention Center walk to your left past the Regent ballrooms and they are on your left.

So let's get you there on time. The MGM Park Convention Center is brand new, so I doubt that anyone has been there before. I'll email everyone shortly with directions, but here's what they are:

** If you are staying at the Bellagio or coming from that direction, get on the Tram. The Tram is located just past the Spa Tower as you walk past the gift shop and up the escalators. Take the Tram to the SECOND stop, which is the Aria/MGM Park. When the Tram stops, take the escalator down and when you walk into the entrance stay to the right, which is MGM Park. Take the escalator down and then walk a long corridor. After you pass the pool you will go left and you will see Convention Center to your left. Enter the doors and stay left until you see Richmond 1 and 2. Everything is right there on the first floor.

** If you take a taxi or Uber to MGM Park you will then take an escalator down to the Hotel Lobby. Walk past the Hotel Lobby and go straight about 75-100 yards and you'll see doors that take you into the CONVENTION CENTER. Stay left, go past the Regent Ballrooms and the next ones are the Richmond ballrooms.

** If you come from the front of the MGM Park, I believe you have to walk all the way through the casino. Head to the Hotel Lobby or look for signs that say Convention Center. At the Hotel Lobby walk straight to the Convention Center another 75-100 yards. Again, enter and stay left until you see the Richmond Ballrooms.

It's not a very big Convention Center, so if you follow the signs to Convention Center or even Hotel Lobby you will be fine. We are on the first floor, so it should be easy enough to find.

We will meet by the Spa Tower elevators at 8:15 am on Thursday to walk over if anyone wants a tour guide. See you there at the Bellagio.

If you get lost or need guidance, call me at 715-254-5553. Thanks all and we'll see you at the MGM Park. The NFL Viewing Party will then be held at the Bellagio in the Spa Tower starting at 4 pm PT. See you there.
