MGM Park Las Vegas To Host Thursday, Sept. 6th Events
Posted: Mon Aug 13, 2018 10:29 am
Okay, it is official: We are hosting one day's events in Las Vegas on the Second Weekend at the MGM Park, formerly called the Monte Carlo.
For the second straight year, the Bellagio has a full convention from Monday through Thursday after Labor Day weekend. It's unusual after a holiday to have a full convention conference, but all meeting room space there is filled during that time. In fact, luckily we have the Grand ballrooms on Friday and Saturday as this convention has released only those rooms for the weekend. And WE TOOK THEM!!
MGM Park will be the host site for the following events ONLY on Thursday, Sept. 6th:
9 am PT - NFFC 14-Team Super Auction (Richmond 1 ballroom)
9 am PT - NFFC Primetime (Richmond 2 ballroom)
Noon PT - NFFC Classic (Richmond 2 ballroom)
2 pm PT - NFFC Primetime (Kickoff Gridiron League 2 (Richmond 1 ballroom)
Other events will be held at the Bellagio that day. They include:
1 pm PT - NFFC 14-Team Kickoff Gridiron League (Executive Penthouse Suite, Spa Tower)
4 pm PT - NFFC Viewing Party (Executive Penthouse Suite, Spa Tower)
9 pm PT - NFFC 12-Team Kickoff Gridiron League 1 (Executive Penthouse Suite, Spa Tower)
The MGM Park is the former Monte Carlo and it has added a huge convention center in the past year. The hotel has been upgraded to a premiere hotel with more convention space and will work fine for us. I know it's an inconvenience, but it's an easy Tram ride from the Bellagio. The MGM Park is the second stop on the Tram from the Bellagio. Just get off the Tram, take the escalator downstairs and turn right to go into the Monte Carlo. I will post exact directions to the Griffith ballrooms once I get out there.
I know it's not ideal, but we retain the Bellagio as our host hotel for two weekends and make the Thursday events work again. Look for more direct instructions to the ballrooms once the leagues are full and we get closer to this date. We'll make sure everyone knows where to go and we'll have food and beverage available for each live draft there. Thanks all and sorry for the dual locations again, but it will work well. I promise.
