2004 NFFC Payment Plan

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Dec 23, 2004 2:51 am

Just a reminder to everyone who finished in the money this year in the NFFC to please send in your W-9 forms so that we can pay you in a timely fashion. Right now we have received about half of the W-9 forms from our 48 winners.

The plan is to send out checks to everyone who has sent in their W-9 forms on Tuesday, Dec. 28th once we know the final totals for all 48 teams. No sense sending out that $5,000 check when another $100,000 needs to be added to it! :D The checks will go out on Tuesday to everyone who has sent in their W-9s and immediately after that to everyone who sends in their W-9s later. Remember that this is a 2004 payment for tax purposes, even if you send in your W-9 after Dec. 31.

If someone outside our 48 league winners takes home the Consolation Bowl prize, we'll mail out a W-9 form immediately to that person and get payment out as soon as that form is returned. Remember that you can fax it to my attention at 715-445-4087 or just mail it in as we sent self-addressed envelopes to everyone.

Congratulations everyone and thanks again for a great, great season. We'll have the signup page for 2005 ready right after the New Year and will even have some early bird giveaways for the first 100 signups. Remember, sign up now and don't pay anything until July 15, 2005 as we don't want your money, just your commitment. Happy holidays everyone and best of luck in all of your fantasy league playoffs.

No, I'd have to say we'll deal with that the same way as any other weekly game. If the NFL changes a ruling before Friday, we'd make the scoring change along with them. Same if we find a muffed punt that was scored wrong or a fumbled punt that was subtracted from a wide receiver's score. We'd make the change after Tuesday to make sure the scoring was accurate for that week and the entire season. I hope this doesn't happen, but you never know.

You guys let me know how this week's action turns out. I can't watch the Vikings-Packers game on Friday and don't want to know the score until after Christmas. Maybe on Sunday I'll watch the rest of the games and find out if my beloved Packers layed an egg at the Humpty Dumpty Dome!

Greg, you already have my W-9 on file from baseball, do I need to send you another one?

I would do it just to be safe. I will tell accounting who the multiple sport winners are, but just to be safe I'd fax it to me at 715-445-4087 or mail it to me. Thanks and congrats on winning in both sports.
