I posted this after the draft but the story gets even stranger. We passed on Bigben at 8.10 hoping that he would make it back to us at 9.5. The person picking 14th drafted Bigben even though he already had Peyton Manning (both with bye week 6.) I thought that was bizarre until this weekend. This is the first time I've ever seen someone sit Peyton Manning. Yes he started Roethlisberger over Manning. (And yes he is the low point team in the league.)

Just kidding of course! How do you sit ANY player you take in the first 2 rounds?

Wayne In most years you would be absolutely correct.
However this year, I have him in the Diesel Diehard Draft.
My first 3 picks from the 12 were....
WR Steve Smith
QB Peyton Manning
TE Antonio Gates
If it weren't for Deion "no catch" Branch in Week 1 (lost by 1/2 point!
), I'd be 2-0 with a nice amount of points.
Some look at that as a crazy start, but I actually like that team.

Wayne, I saw that yesterday when I was looking at the stats for all the teams and I couldn't believe it either. But if you look at that old guys team, it's not very good at all. I just kept laughing to myself when he was drafting. I don't see how you can sit Manning any week other than his bye week. I guess he just donated to the pot.

yea, I just couldn't see his logic when he was drafting. I can see him being at the bottom of the league this year. Oh yea before i forget, in your signature Westbrook doesn't have an E on the end. It's been killin me for awhile now.
