NFFC Message Boards

Congrats to Wilson Moy of Denver, Colorado as he won the 2018 NFFC Classic title and the $80,000 grand prize. Wilson becomes our 15th different champion in the 15 years of the NFFC Classic as he edged Andy Saxton by a mere 4.54 points for the title.

Wilson drafted out of Las Vegas on the Second Weekend and led his 420 Express team to the league title through 13 weeks of this Saturday, 2 pm league. Wilson's team went 11-2 and had the most points in his league to win $7,000 after Week 13. He then entered the Championship Round 32nd out of 63 teams, but moved up to 13th after Week 14 when his team scored 158.05 points (12th best). The 420 Express then moved into third place after Week 15 after scoring 161.95 points (5th best), setting up a shot at the $80,000 grand prize. He earned that in Week 16 by scoring 177.15 points (4th best) to edge Andy Saxton by 4.54 points for the top prize.

Finishing in the Top 5 in each of the last two weeks got the job done for Wilson, whose team was anchored by Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffery and Tyreek Hill. Adding Damien Williams for the playoffs was also a big key to the title. Wilson drafted out of the 9th spot and started out with McCaffery, Hill and Doug Baldwin. Wilson Moy won the NFFC Classic title in 2018 the old fashioned way: HE EARNED IT. He started drafting as soon as the NFFC draft room opened and he did a lot of Draft Champions leagues as prep. They obviously helped as he won 5 NFFC Draft Champions titles and cashed in 13 other leagues, while winning the $80,000 grand prize in the NFFC Classic.
