Thank you, Liquid and Ico
For those that haven't heard, Liquid Empire (co-managing with Ico the "**Kate and Halle**" team) has accepted a challenge this week with the loser posting appropriately and other goodies.
Even though I have only 1 RB these two very nice folks let me grab Brad Hoover off the waiver wire for 3 of my remaining 10 bidding dollars. Brad Hoover, who likely will start for Carolina against the defensively challenged San Diego Chargers. I must say, such generosity cannot go unpunished

Defensively challenged San Diego Chargers??? Last time I checked, JP, they were 2nd in the NFL against the run. You must be looking for Hoover to catch a lot of balls out of the backfield.

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

I dropped McCareins in the GEKKO league last week and think you came out ahead, KJ. Then again, I dropped M. Moore whom you beat me with last week. Good luck with him, GG.

For this week, I think Campbell may actually be the better pickup, and at a much lower price, but with McCareins as the Jets #2 and Campbell the Vikes #4, I did bid more on McC.

For the record, San Diego has given up 19.3 fantasy points per game to RBs (not counting reception points) against a league average of 18.9. Okay, maybe not a big favorable situation, but I'm okay with it.
Carolina has averaged 18.7 RB fantasy points per game (also excluding reception points) making them a pretty middle of the pack club. Best is Indy and Seattle at 24.7, worst is Miami at 8.7. Denver at 22.9 RB fp/game.
San Diego gave up 25/93/1 to the Falcons last week, and average 85.7 yards allowed per game this season - they don't give up a ton of yards. However, they have surrendered 7 scores in this phase of the game, averaging .8 TDs and 71 rushing yards allowed per contest over the past 4 weeks - they aren't shutting people out of the endzone right now.
