Tonight is the night! No idea what my gameplan is

Here's my roster. After last year, I was determined to get the players I wanted and I did. Kamara, Adams and Dobbins were my top targets and I got all of them. Only mistake I feel I made was overpaying late for Mike Williams with D.J. Chark still available (he went for $11) but Williams is another guy I like a lot as a WR4 this year so if I'm going to make a mistake let's do it going after the guys I want to get. All in all, I like this team and hopefully it'll be one that gets me into the playoffs.

QB: Happy with Herbert at 10 bucks, Tua with improved weapons will be a good backup. Threw a buck at deshaun watson in case he plays
RB: Waited on RB and still was able to nab Chubb and Mixon. Also happy to get Dam Harris for 3 bucks as my rb3
TE: Kittle wasnt the plan but I won him at 19 bucks. If he stays healthy, he is the equivalent of a WR1. I am high on Friernuth as a TE2 in his rookie year.
WR: Ridley was my main target and was happy to get Lockett for WR2. Devonta Smith should get plenty of targets in Philly and Russell Gage is a real nice cheap buy and an excellent week 1 start vs Philly(Tom was mad at me for getting him). Jarvis Landry will see some starts for me as well(boring but steady)
Not a bad first draft. I will be doing more prep as I get ready for high stakes drafts in Aug/Sept

Had a blast in this one. Sat back from some of the big numbers early. Quality RB depth overall is not as bountiful as in previous years. You are going to have to get your guy. McCaffrey went for $63 and Dalvin went for $52. There were six RB's over $40 and Ekeler went for $39. There were another 8 over $30 and most were over $35. Just made the tier on starting RB's, but getting Drake or Conner as handcuffs was not happening in this one. Very apparent that getting handcuffs will be difficult this year. Might have to jump up in snake drafts if you want that insurance. Was pleased to get the Jackson/ Andrews combo and if Beckham works out, it might make for a decent starting lineup. Players that can tip the scales include Beckham, Jacobs and Edmonds. Thanks to Andy Saxton for setting this up and for our GTD trio for being great sports in joining this one. Tom has a great team there.

This was a lot of fun and it was a tough, tough classroom last night. I hope I didn't get schooled.

I came in with a plan and quickly had to go to Plan B after that section of RB2's kept getting pushed up higher and higher in prices. I think most owners were looking for two good RBs and that second group got pushed up higher than I was willing to go. I almost wish I had jumped Najee Harris or Cam Akers anyway as I now have my work cut out for me if I'm going to make the Championship Round a third straight year. I need Aaron Rodgers in MVP form and on the field in Week 1 and a big year out of David Montgomery to contend.
