Ryan Burt Wins 2021 NFFC Online Auction Championship

Ryan Burt of Maumee, Ohio won the 2021 NFFC Online Auction Championship and the $5,000 grand prize thanks to an incredible Week 17 performance from his team. This is the first year that we hosted this contest as a national championship and we finished with 34 leagues and 408 teams. Ryan topped the 82 teams in the Championship Round by moving up 10 spots in Week 17 to win the debut title and the $5,000 grand prize.

Ryan competed in the August 27th $250 Online Auction Championship League and finished second in that league in points. He entered the Championship Round 38th overall, but moved up slightly after Week 15 to 31st overall after his team scored 138.20 points. His team moved up to 11th overall after Week 16 when his team scored 183.45 points, but it was still more than 62 points out of the lead. Then Week 17 came and his team scored 213.30 points to jump 10 spots and claim the national title. The Bengals stack of Joe Burrow-Ja'Marr Chase-Joe Mixon did it for him, but he also needed 17.80 points from Pittsburgh's Team Kicker on Monday Night Football to vault to the top.

Ryan edged Graig Crawford by 5.17 points thanks to Pittsburgh's kicker, with Chris Eibl, John Bosch and Daren Eliason rounding out the Top 5. Only 10 points separated the Top 4 teams in what was one of the closest national contest races we had in 2021. Great job everyone and congrats to everyone who won prize money this year.
