We don't get many NFL players from Iola, Wisconsin -- population 1,301 -- so when we get the chance to highlight them we have to do it. Kristian Welch was a star at Iola-Scandinavia High School who went on to play at the University of Iowa as a linebacker and has now played two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens on special teams. I saw him as a grade schooler and it's so cool to now see him in the NFL. Congrats Kristian.
