NFFC First Weekend Las Vegas: Bellago, Sept. 2-3

Okay, we are less than 3 months away from hosting our First Weekend of live events in Las Vegas. Remember that the First Weekend live events will be held at the Bellagio, while all events Sept. 8-10 will be held at Park MGM.

For Friday and Saturday, Sept. 2nd and 3rd, we are in the DaVinci 1 and 2 Ballrooms in the Bellagio Convention Center. These are an upgrade from what we previously had and they are located just off the Spa Tower at the Bellagio. The entire Convention Center is filled by another convention, so we have these two ballrooms and nothing else. Once we fill our scheduled events for those days, we are full.

And so far we're starting to fill some early events. We are getting good interest in the Friday, Sept. 2nd NFFC $1500 Auction Leagues and I think we can fill both of them. We have several owners who are doing the Auction League and the Draft Champions League, so we can be flexible with the order that they are doing those. Right now we have 21 teams for the two time slots, and with a little maneuvering, I know we can fill the 10 am Auction League and the 2 pm Auction League.

Here's the current signup lists, and again, we can move 4 owners to 10 am right now with no problem, so let's get 3 more teams for the 10 am auction league and then we are good to go.

Okay, we just got upgraded at the Bellagio for First Weekend live events. We are now in DaVinci Ballrooms 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday. These are bigger than the Gauguin ballrooms and will give us a lot of space for the auctions and drafts.

DaVinci 1 and 2!!! Remember that. They are located just off the Spa Tower and they are the first ballrooms if you come to the Bellagio from the Tram. If you come to the Convention Center through the Guest Tower or through the Casino, they are the farthest ballrooms in the Convention Center. Walk past the Business Center, past the Bellagio Ballrooms, past the Wedding Chapel and past the Grand Ballrooms and then take a left. DaVinci 1 and 2 are just to your left after you take a left.

First Weekend is coming together nicely. If you plan on coming to this live event, realize that a lot of leagues are almost full and we won't be adding any for this weekend. Here's what's left:
