2023 NFFC Draft Room Is Now Open For Business!!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Jan 09, 2023 3:16 pm

If you've been a member of the NFFC since 2004, then you know things have changed around here. The number of people playing has changed. The software has changed. The prizes have changed. The quickness of the payouts has changed.

But you also know that the length of the drafting season has also changed through time in the NFFC. When we were with STATS in the early years, it was tough for us to roll the next season around until all of our NFBC drafts were over with. There were times when we were lucky to get the next season's draft room out until April, likely just before the NFL Draft.

Well, that improved once we got to SportsHub Games Network and the last few years we've unveiled the new draft room right after the Super Bowl, shortly after we paid out our NFFC Post-Season prizes. We were excited to get NFFC drafts started in early February because it was a big improvement from the past.

But what the heck, let's improve even upon that now!! Today we have opened up the 2023 NFFC Draft Room and we are ready for business. If you want to have some fun drafting Best Ball leagues, we have the following leagues open and drafts will start 30 minutes after the leagues fill:

** NFFC $25 & $50 Best Ball Draft Champions Leagues are available

** NFFC $150 & $400 Best Ball Draft Champions Leagues are available

** NFFC Cutline Championship Leagues are available

** NFFC $100/$25/$400 Best Ball Double Up Leagues are available

** BestBall 10's Leagues are available

Jump in when you are ready, but if you feel like drafting during the NFL playoffs then go ahead. You don't have to wait around for us anymore. We're LIVE and open for business!!

Enjoy and good luck everyone.

Just a heads up to everyone that we will roll the NFFC site over from 2022 to 2023 early next week, likely Tuesday or Wednesday. We need to finalize the two NFFC Post-Season Contests first and pay all of the winners before rolling the site over, but that should be done by mid-week at the latest.

What that means is that all of the data you had from your 2022 teams will go into the Historical Teams area. It also means that a lot of that data will disappear because we don't keep everything from every season on file. You will lose access to your draft boards, FAAB pickups, league info, etc., so if you want that take screenshots now or download what you need.

You will still see league standings, overall standings and even rosters from My Historical Teams, but a lot of the other data will be done. You still have a few more days to secure that data, so go do it now if you want it.

All of the early drafts will easily transfer over to the 2023 NFFC site once we begin the new season. We'll announce the contests, prizes, entry fees, etc., on the new site as well. We are already open for business, but draft dates and live event draft information will be there next week. We can't wait to get the season started!!!

Thanks all and enjoy the Super Bowl this weekend.
