Chad Schroeder Wins THREE 2022 NFFC Super Leagues & $47,000

NFFC Hall of Famer Chad Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska entered six NFFC 12-Team Super Leagues in 2022 and he won THREE titles, earning $47,000 among those three leagues. Chad has now won SIX NFFC 12-Team Super League titles since we started this format in 2009, the most of any owner so far.

Chad needed a comeback in Week 17 and some unfortunate luck for someone else to win the NFFC September 3rd 12-Team Super League title and that $14,000 prize. He started the final week in third place, but he vaulted into the lead thanks to a 138.25 point week. He was ahead by just 0.11 points over Oliver Dawoud with no players left in the Monday Night Game. In fact, the third and fourth place teams didn't have any players left. Oliver, however, had three players going in that game: Josh Allen, Gabe Davis and the Bills' defense. In fact, he had won the title on the Bills' first drive, but then the injury happened to Damar Hamlin and the NFL decided to cancel the game and erase those first quarter stats.

Oliver was leading the league heading into Week 17, but he had to settle for second place and the $5,000 prize. Jason Esteybar finished third and won $2,000, while Matt Shepherd won $500 for winning the Consolation Round. Chad had won $5,000 during the regular season for finishing with the best h2h record and most points.

Chad's team was led in Week 17 by Austin Ekeler (32.10 points), Jerick McKinnon (22.60), Justin Fields (19.95) and and Josh Jacobs (19.50). Congrats to Chad and all of the prize winners.

Chad Schroeder also won the NFFC September 4th 12-Team Super Online League title, but he needed one helluva comeback to do it. His team went from fourth place after Week 16 to first place in Week 17 to win the $14,000 league prize.

All four teams were within 47 points of each other after Week 16, but Chad's Cocktails & Dreams were 46.25 points out of first place and 18.80 points out of third place. But his team scored 159.90 points in Week 17 to edge ahead of Michael O'Brien by 0.75 points for the win. Neither team had any players in the Monday Night Game between Buffalo and Cincinnati that was canceled because of the serious injury to Damar Hamlin.

However, the other two teams did have players in that final game and that definitely could have affected the final standings. Bill Carson won $5,000 during the regular season as he had best h2h record and most points, but he finished 15.28 points behind Chad with Stefon Diggs still to play. Brian Owens was 70.20 points out of first place and he still had Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase going. We'll never know how this would have played out because the NFL cancelled this game three days later, but it sure would have been interesting.

Michael won $5,000 for his runner-up finish and Bill Carson won $2,000 for his third place finish. Michael Edelman won the Consolation Round and won $500.

Chad was led in Week 17 by Christian McCaffrey (31.30 points), Dalton Schultz (24.60), Jerick McKinnon (22.60) and A.J. Brown (19.70). Congrats Chad on a wild victory and congrats to all of our prize winners.

While his first two NFFC Super Online League championship teams barely won, his third one was a little more convincing. Chad won the NFFC September 9th 12-Team Super Online League by 18.83 points and he still had Joe Burrow and the Bengals' Kicker going on Monday Night. That game was cancelled because of the serious injury to Damar Hamlin, so Chad got 0 points from those two players.

But it didn't matter as Kenneth Myers finished second and didn't have any players going that night. Only Derek Anderson still had players going and he was 47.05 points behind Chad. the players he had were Ja'Marr Chase and Devin Singletary, so it would have been tough.

Kenneth and Derek each won $2,500 during the regular season for most points and best h2h record, respectively. Kenneth won another $5,000 for his runner-up finish, while Derek won another $2,000 for his third place finish. Brett Giglio won $500 for winning the Consolation Round.

Chad entered the Championship Round with the third most points, but he quickly vaulted into first place by scoring 164.20 points in Week 15. He padded his lead in Week 16 when he scored 161.20 points and despite having only eight players going in Week 17 he still scored 102.20 points to hold onto the title.

Cocktail's and Dreams were led in Week 17 by DJ Moore (23.70 points), Jerick McKinnon (22.60), Najee Harris (20.30) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (10.20).
