The NFFC will be represented in today's FSGA Industry League at 3 pm ET. I don't believe this particular league is being carried live on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, but you can follow the entire draft on this board:

This is a 14-team, PPR league with a straight serpentine draft. Tom and I will be representing this NFFC team and we have the 4th pick. Running Backs go quickly in these industry leagues and in last night's first FSGA Industry League a total of 13 Running Backs went in the first 24 picks. Wow.
Here was the draft board from that draft:

We won this title in 2018, but have not come close to winning it all since. We need to change that this year. Here we go. Wish us good luck and follow along. We'll post our full lineup after the draft. Enjoy.

Here's our team in today's 14-team FSGA draft. We drafted from the 4th spot. This is a RB-crazy league so our plan was to load up on WRs, grab a top QB and work middle-round RBs. We executed it and now we gotta see if it pays off. Ideally, our RB1 would be someone better than White but with this group we knew it might be tough to get the guy we wanted and we missed out on a more ideal RB so we'll see how this goes.
QB-Joe Burrow
QB-Derek Carr
RB-Rachaad White
RB-James Cook
RB-Jerick McKinnon
RB-Kendre Miller
RB-Jerome Ford
WR-Ja'Marr Chase
WR-DK Metcalf
WR-Jerry Jeudy
WR-Elijah Moore
WR-Michael Gallup
TE-David Njoku
TE-Juwan Johnson
K-Jake Elliott
D-Ravens

From the 1.04 Tom and Greg landed stud WR Ja'Marr Chase as the 1-2-3 was CMC, Ekeler and Jefferson. They continued the WR onslaught with DK Metcalf and Jerry Jeudy in the 2nd and 3rd rounds as they were the only team in this 14 team league to go WR/WR/WR to start. The 4th round was the round of the QB with Mahomes, Hurts, Allen, Lamar going before the NFFC snagged Burrow to pair with Chase to get the stack. A little weak waiting at the RB position so they will need to hope White continues to build on a solid rookie season in what might be a terrible offense but he could get 80% of the snap share and provide decent floor. James Cook is a bit of a wild card with Damien Harris there. McKinnon was a nice 9th round pick if he can continue his PPR explosive he had from the 2nd half of last season and Miller could thrive if Kamara gets suspended.
Solid TE's in Njoku who broke out last year and Johnson.
All in all a strong looking team if the RB's can come through.
1 Chase
2 Metcalf
3 Jeudy
4 Burrow
5 R White
6 J Cook
7 E Moore
8 Njoku
9 McKinnon
10 K Miller
11 Gallup
12 Juwan Johnson
13 J Ford
14 Balt DF
15 Jake Elliott
16 D Carr
QB Burrow, Carr
RB Rachaard White, James Cook, McKinnon, Kendre Miller, Ford
WR Chase, Metcalf, Jeudy, E Moore Gallup
TE Njoku, J Johnson
K Elliott
DF Baltimore

Thanks for doing that Henry. If Tom posted that quickly then you know he likes this team!!
Thanks for the commentary.
These industry leagues are so different from high-stakes leagues as these writers still feel naked until they can get two strong RBs. And in a 14-team league we certainly understand that as our RB2 has killed us in this format many years. But last year we panicked in the third round and jumped David Montgomery instead of taking a better WR and it sunk our season. Chasing RBs was our downfall last year, so we decided to get the best players this time and do our best to fill in at RB during the season.
Getting Chase at 4 was a gift and we were praying to stack him with Burrow. Very happy there. Now let's play the games. Good luck all in all of your leagues.

Ha. Thanks for the writeup Henry. Appreciate it
Yeah I agree we would've preferred to be a bit stronger at RB than we are but we knew going in this group was RB crazy and people can look at the board and see for themselves how nuts this draft was. But rather than reaching for the position we stuck to our plan and hit on the WRs that were there for us. We could've gone RB in the third (Mixon and Gibbs were both there), but the ability to slam dunk the WR position was way too appealing in our opinion. With Chase, DK and Jeudy we believe we have three WRs with weekly WR1 upside and with Burrow we have an elite QB1, something that we believe will give us a big edge over many of the teams in this league.
We just need White and Cook to be respectable at RB and if that happens we should be able to contend. If one or both offer anything more or we get something from anyone else in our RB stable (such as McKinnon and/or Miller), that'd be great. And of course there's no telling what will happen off the Waiver Wire as the season goes along.
Nobody ever walks out of a 14-team draft with a "Holy Chit our team is AWESOME" feeling so we know there are issues that we'll have to massage throughout the season. But overall we feel good about how things worked out. So now we'll see how it all plays out.
