Steve Elbaum Wins Sept. 3rd NFFC 12-Team Super League & $14,000

Steve Elbaum of Agoura Hills, California won the 2023 September 3rd NFFC 12-Team Super League as he jumped two spots in the last two weeks of the Championship Round to win the title and the $14,000 prize. This is Steve's first NFFC 12-Team Super League title and it was the only Super League he was in this year.
Steve's BORN TO RUN team finished 8-6 during the regular season, but it finished second in points, trailing Bob Catsiroumpas by 15.75 points. Bob won $5,000 for best h2h record (11-3) and most points (2,118.60). But it was Steve who dominated in the Championship Round, scoring 134.40 points in Week 15, 147.25 points in Week 16 and then 188.00 points in Week 17.
His winning total of 619.85 points was 20.72 points ahead of Catsiroumpas, who won another $5,000 for his runner-up finish. Chris Eibl finished in third place to win $2,000, while Michael O'Brien won the Consolation Round to win $500.
Steve's championship team was led in Week 17 by CeeDee Lamb's 41.20 points, but he also got 37.00 points from Jordan Love and 29.50 points by Isiah Pacheco. Jaylen Waddle and Kenneth Walker also scored 20+ points in Week 15 for BORN TO RUN.
Steve drafted from the 7th spot in this league and started out with CeeDee Lamb, Jaylen Waddle and Keenan Allen. Not a bad receiving corps to build your foundation around. Nice job Steve. Great job everyone and congrats to all of the prize winners.
