The NFL announced its 2024 NFL schedule yesterday and we learned that bye weeks will run from Week 5 through Week 14. The NFFC's regular season runs through Week 14, but the All Play weeks are during Weeks 1 through 3 for 12-team leagues and Week 1 for the NFFC Classic.

The NFL amazes us each year with their choice of byes and this year is no different. While there are no teams on byes in Weeks 8 and 13, there are 6 teams on bye in the crucial Week 14 and 6 teams are also on bye in Week 12. Only four teams are on byes in Weeks 7, 8 and 9.

Anyway, here's the bye weeks for each team in 2024:

Week 5 - Detroit, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia, Tennessee
Week 6 - Kansas City, Los Angeles Rams, Miami, Minnesota
Week 7 - Chicago, Dallas
Week 9 - Pittsburgh, San Francisco
Week 10 - Cleveland, Green Bay, Las Vegas, Seattle
Week 11 - Arizona, Carolina, Tampa Bay, New York Giants
Week 12 - Atlanta, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, New Orleans, New York Jets
Week 14 - Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Indianapolis, New England, Washington

Week 12 cutline killer that is the hardest week to make the cut for the playoffs besides the cut to make week 17 and now 6 teams on bye including 3 elite ones. Will make you have to think twice about drafting those players. (Week 11 as well) So that is 10 teams on bye in the hardest cut of all week save making week 17.

The beauty of not having to carry 2 kickers in the OC, Prime, Classic ect playoffs just came to an end if you select a week 14 bye kicker now since no waivers after week 14.

Either you would have to take a zero at kicker week 14 or be stuck carrying 2 kickers the entire playoffs erasing the 1 great thing that the NFFC does that no other high stakes site does which is not have to carry 2 kickers and not have to worry about injury for the most part.

The NFL not putting teams on bye week 8 is just stupid they could put all those week 14 teams on bye week 8.

Every year I rant and rave about some new wrinkle the NFL has thrown at us but I think I might be the only person that actually cares.

Well, I'm sure you aren't the only one who cares (I know I do too). Unfortunately, clearly the NFL doesn't care.
