8 Spots Left: Las Vegas Rotowire OC Live, Saturday, 2 pm PT

For the first time ever, the NFFC will be offering $350 Rotowire Online Championship drafts LIVE in Las Vegas and New York City. There will be limited time slots for these $350 offerings, but we hope to fill many of them Live at Dave & Busters in Manhattan and at Park MGM in Las Vegas.

The reason we've never offered these live before is because economically it doesn't make sense. It's very tough to host a live event at the $350 price point with the costs involved for venues, food & beverage, facilitators and the rest. But there are also times at both venues when some ballrooms are being unused and so our hope is to fill up those times with LIVE Rotowire Online Championship drafts.

Our goal with offering these $350 offerings this year is two-fold. First of all, we think they will attract some new users to our live events so that they can see how much fun it is and hopefully jump into other live events as well. Maybe we get some first-time drafters with us live in New York City or live in Las Vegas. And secondly, this gives our NFFC die-hards who would rather keep drafting at the live events rather than just do one or two drafts and leave something else to do while in both cities.

As I said earlier, we have the space to add a few of these leagues. In New York City, we have two rooms to host live events and in Las Vegas on Second Weekend we have 6 ballrooms that aren’t always completely full. I want each ballroom filled with live drafts each day and filling them with Rotowire OC Live drafts is better than having them empty. Now we won’t have food in those drafts, but we’ll offer some drinks and the fun of drafting a $350 league LIVE will be worth it alone.

To sign up for one of these contests you need to go to Registration and pull down to $350 Rotowire Online Championship - Live. Then pick the city, the date and time of the draft and away we go. If you happen to have a regular $350 Rotowire Online Championship entry that you want to turn into a Live entry, just contact me, Tom, Geoff or Brian and we'll do that for you. You can't do it alone since these are actually two different contest entries within our Admin. Thanks.
