NFFC 1-Hour Best Ball Championship Deadline: August 29th

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Aug 12, 2024 12:38 pm

Okay, we are happy to report that we are closing in on 2,000 teams in the NFFC Best Ball Championship, with a goal of reaching 3,000 teams in this format by season's end. We are regularly filling up the nightly Express leagues and the slow drafts are also filling up consistently. Thanks for all your help in making this season a success, not only for the Best Ball Championship but for all of our NFFC contests.

But all good things must come to an end. The 4-Hour Best Ball Championships can take between 7 and 14 days to complete, so we need to shut those down well in advance of the Sunday, September 8th openers. All Best Ball Championship leagues will be concluded before those 1 pm ET games if we have turn the pick clock to 1 minute per team to do it, so plan accordingly. If you enter these last 4-Hour Best Ball leagues, please be ready to make your picks and conclude these leagues in a timely fashion.

So with that in mind, here's the last days that we'll fill the NFFC $150 and $400 4-Hour Best Ball Championship Leagues:
Thursday, August 22nd. We'll take signups through that day and start no later than Friday morning, August 23rd. Plan accordingly.

Here's the last days that we'll fill the NFFC $150 and $400 2-Hour Best Ball Championship Leagues:
Tuesday, August 27th. We'll take signups through that day and start no later than Wednesday, August 28th. Plan accordingly.

Here's the last days that we'll fill the NFFC $150 and $400 1-Hour Best Ball Championship Leagues:
Thursday, August 29th. We'll take signups through that day and start no later than Friday morning, August 30th. Plan accordingly.

The slow drafts for the NFFC Cutline, NFFC Guillotine and NFFC Satellite Leagues will extend about 2 days longer than each of these times because those leagues don't go 420 players deep. But look for each of those offerings to end shortly as well and look to jump into those nightly leagues for each of those contests. Thanks and good luck.

We will continue to offer Best Ball Express Leagues every night from now until Saturday, Sept. 7th, so plan accordingly. This should be a wild finish to the drafting season and I can't wait to get the season started. These are "draft and be done" leagues where the computer picks your optimal scoring lineup every week for 17 weeks. Thanks all and good luck.

Just a reminder that Thursday is our last day to create leagues for the NFFC $150 and $400 Best Ball Championship leagues. We want to start all of those 4-Hour leagues no later than tomorrow night.

We will still run the 2-Hour leagues through next Tuesday, August 27th and will create the 1-Hour leagues through Thursday, August 29th. After that it's all nightly and daily Best Ball leagues.

Thanks all and good luck. Let's finish strong in this format as we battle for the $30,000 grand prize.

Just a reminder everyone that TODAY is the last day to get into a full NFFC $150 or $400 Best Ball Championship league. We have some work to do at the $400 level, but I think we can get one more $150 league before shutting these down. Good luck all and jump in NOW if you want to compete in this format.

We will continue with the 2-Hour and 1-Hour Best Ball Championships through next week and then shut those down. It's time to get in or be left out!! Thanks all and best of luck in the battle for the $30,000 grand prize.
