Roger Gonzalez Wins 2024 Turkey Day Bonanza & $7,500

Roger Gonzalez of Metairie, Louisiana topped a record field of 600 teams to win the 2024 NFFC Turkey Day Bonanza and the $7,500 grand prize. Roger had three teams in this contest and he turned one of them into a $7,500 prize. Great job Champ.
Roger finished 2.7 points ahead of James Rodriguez for the title in what was a really, really close race to the top. In every year of this one day contest, the champion has won by less than 3 points, which is amazing. Rounding out the Top 5 this year were Adam Jensen, Eric Karlovic and Doug Gruber. Because of the record turnout, we were able to increase the overall prize pool and we paid the Top 40 finishers overall. What a great contest.
Roger used the combination of Caleb Williams and Keenan Allen to jump out to the early lead and he sealed the win with the late game of De'Von Achane, Jonnu Smith, Tyreek Hill and Jayden Reed. That ricochet TD catch by Tyreek Hill likely sealed the deal for Roger to win the title and the $7,500 grand prize. Great job Roger and congrats on the win.

Last year we sold out this contest with 517 teams, while selling it out in 2022 with 450 teams. To reach the 600 team mark this year means that we better plan for a bigger and better grand prize in 2025!!! I think $10,000 makes a lot of sense.
