We know you have your hands full over the next four weeks with the NFFC regular season and Championship Round season, but we also want to let you know today that the NFFC season doesn't conclude after Week 17. We still have a couple of ways for you to enjoy the NFL playoffs and still win some BIG MONEY in the NFFC.
For the 20th straight year, the NFFC will be offering its unique NFFC Post-Season Hold 'Em Contest. In fact, we'll be offering two of them: One with a $200 price point and another one with a $50 price point. For the third straight year, we will be offering a guaranteed grand prize of $150,000 in the NFFC $200 Post-Season Contest and a guaranteed $50,000 grand prize in the $50 Post-Season Contest. This is the longest running Post-Season Contest in the industry and now you can turn $200 into $150,000.
The contest is now live on Registration and open for business. This contest is now in its 20th season and it will pay over $260,000 in prizes. This year's NFL post-season is sure to be a wild one with 14 teams again making the playoffs and only two teams earning first-round byes. Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a great Super Bowl and I'm sure this year's playoff run will be just as epic. In fact, even though the Chiefs and Detroit Lions are heavy favorites to reach the Super Bowl, I have a feeling many upsets will happen this post-season.
We love this unique format, which limits everyone to one player per NFL playoff team in Round 1, and uses a multiplier scoring format. Last year we finished with 1,517 teams competing in this contest and we expect to top that number this year. Prizes are based on 1,650 entries this year, so don't wait too long to get in. Here's the crib notes on how this contest runs:
* No draft. No salary cap. Just select players.
* Each owner picks one player from 12 playoff teams in Round 1. Since there are now 14 NFL teams in the playoffs, you are fading two teams; in other words, you aren't picking a player from two of the First Round teams. And remember that one NFL team in each conference will have a first round bye, so those players you select won't score any points in Round 1 but will start at 2x in Round 2.
* Players on your initial roster earn 1x their scores in Round 1, 2x in Round 2, 3x in Round 3 and 4x in Round 4.
* Every team could start out with 2 players on bye and up to 6 players who could be eliminated.
* You can pick up new players each week but they start out at 1x when they are added.
* The owner with the most points after Round 4 wins $150,000.
* The key is picking the top stars who score each week and score big in the multiplier rounds, especially when it gets to 4x.
* Cost of entry is $200 per team.
* $150,000 grand prize, over $260,000 in total prizes. Top 40 finishers earn cash prizes.
