Team Skinz finished 12.85 points ahead of Timothy Olson for the top prize with Glenn Lowy, Andre Boucier and Lowy again rounding out the Top 5. This contest paid the Top 40 teams overall. Olson earned $25,000 while Lowy earned $30,000 for his two Top 5 finishes and Boucier earned $15,000.
We will wait for any scoring changes from Elias Sports today and tomorrow before finalizing the prizes tomorrow. Look for these prizes on your Player Accounts no later than Wednesday morning once the stats have been finalized by Elias.
Christopher has competed in the NFFC since 2022, each year only in the Post-Season Contest. He finished as high as 27th last year in the $200 Post-Season Contest, but this year he took those skills to a new level. He purchased 10 teams and five of them finished in the Top 30 and cashed. He had teams that finished 14th, 17th, 19th and 29th overall to earn another $3,475. Well done Christopher and now you need to try those skills in our season-long contests!!!
During the three previous seasons of the NFFC $200 Post-Season Contest, the overall winners had only one entry and they turned $200 into $150,000. That wasn't the case this year, but Christopher definitely made wise use of each of his entries. Again, well done.
Christopher's Skinz team was 733rd out of 1,521 entries after Round 1 as he scored 184.5 points with Mahomes and Jayden Daniels as his Quarterbacks. He had Saquon Barkley as his Philadelphia pick in the first round. He had seven other teams ranked higher than this Skinz team after Round 2 as this team moved to 300th overall with 587.8 points. Team Skinz then jumped into the lead after Round 3 with a 527.60 point week led by Mahomes, Daniels, Barkley and James Cook each scoring between 85 and 106.65 points. That gave him a 12.1 point lead over Daniel Goolsby heading into the Super Bowl, while he also had the third and fourth place overall teams.
Thanks to Mahomes' finish, Skinz scored 435.35 points in Round 4 to finish with 1,550.75 points. He got 129.4 points from Mahomes, 107.1 points from Worthy, 62.8 points from Barkley and 57.0 points from Philly's Defense. He also got 34.75 points from Hurts at just 1x, and despite other teams having Hurts at 3x or 4x, Christopher was able to hold onto the lead and the $150,000 grand prize.
