In another thread, I was talking to Gekko about Reggie Bush. Assuming Reggie Bush is announced as the every down and goal line back heading into the season for the team he plays for will he be a consensus 1st round pick in fantasy drafts?
I can't recall a rookie RB being picked in the 1st round but this guy may have the hype to vault into round 1. Thoughts???

I remember taking Edgerrin James his rookie year (in a 12 team keeper) with the 13th overall pick.
He panned out, but I personally wouldn't touch a rookie in the first round.

I'll take him at #5 or after.
Those that would not probably thought Oklahoma had a chance last year.

I find it hard to believe you are playing in a high stake game and can't see that he is a 1st round pick. You know how they love the D. Davis and Westbrook in this format. He's better than both of them.

CC...I agree with you 100%. I too think he will be a 1st round pick. I know I would take him in the middle to late first round. I think he is that good. D. Davis was a consensus 1st rounder and if Bush ends up with the Texans or any other team for that matter, I can't see how he doesn't put up the numbers to justify the selection. It will be interesting to see just how much the hype will move him up the draft board.

If he ends up on the J-E-T-S; that team will destroy his value and suck the life out of him. The J-E-T-S are a sad sack of horse poo and I would not take him in round 1 if that's who gets him.

I'm not saying he isn't a GREAT player, it is just that I wouldn't take him in the first round.
Have at him if you like, but I think you will be dissapointed.
P.S. How long have you been a USC fan??

It would be interesting if he stayed another year at USC just to guarantee the #1 pick but I just can't see it. What are the chances of the Packers taking him, Greg. They look like they are playing for a top 3 pick. When are you going to place the call for Ron Wolff?

Eddie - I think they are talking about first round (or top 15). Certainly not 1st overall. No possible way he's a number one pick next year or the following. First round (top 15 picks).... could be. Look at the other stud first rounders many of us took this year.... McGahee, Priest and the Jones boys for example. Bush could easily go before 3 of those 4 (if not all 4).
Hey - Good luck in your leagues thie final week.
