DEF scoring question

What happens when the defense pitches a shutout, but the opposing team put up seven points off of a pick-six by their defense (ATL vs IND this week)?

The defense still gets docked for the other team having a defensive TD.

Unfortunately, it counts against the defense. Points are points. I wish fantasy football would rectify this though and only count points scored when the DST was on the field.

No kidding....picked up the Falcons on 2 teams this week, and knowing their defense didn't let the Colts offense score and you don't get the shutout sucks.

Oh well.....part of the game I suppose.

But WHY is it still part of the game? With the internet and computers, this is easy to calculate.

Doesn't need to be part of the Fantasy game.

It seems to me that the software could be easily adjusted to not count ST and Defensive TD's against the Team Defense.

If it gets intercepted then fumbled and returned for a TD you get that fumble & TD for owning the Falcons D even though it would be an offensive player scoring.

So once someone has possession of the ball the other team's players on the field are technically the Defense...

I saw this on NFL.com gamecenter...

2-2- (9:46) (Shotgun) 15-T.Tebow up the middle to DEN 49 for -1 yards (99-L.Houston).

Am wondering if anybody knows why that wouldn't count as a sack on the QB?

You can't get a sack if its a designed run play.

Thanks felix....I still think it should be a sack tho to eliminate having to discern if a play is designed to be run play...qb taking a loss should be a sack period in my view...they are already hard enough to get.
