Hi Greg or Tom, can you confirm or deny two things for me, I think a lot of people might have the same question so I am posting rather then emailing.

#1 No More free agents this year? The rules state that for week 14 and beyond there are no more free agents, but some people are not clear whether this might mean they can still get a FA next week.

#2 It is possible for two teams to be 10-3 in their league, the one with the most points wins the league but the other one still might not even win $500? If two or more teams have more points then the other 10-3 team then they get squat right?

I am a supporter of total points over H2H so #2 doesn't bother me, I am just clarifying. Thanks!

Flamingo - your sig implies that those type of wing-eat'n people have some type of intelligence shortcoming. I don't believe that. Why do you? Thanks.

2. Correct, you could finish second in h2h and fourth or below in total points and not win any money. Top total points after h2h champion win second and third place league money.

Thanks Greg, good to have closure.

I am a part-time manager for an I.F.O.C.E eater, and can tell you that professional chicken wing eaters do not have intelligence deficiencies.

According to everyone who is following the 3RR debate this means that since I know 2 people that eat chicken wings who are smart it means that I can ignore the the fact that the other 10 people that I drink beer and eat wings with are all dumbasses.

Since Kobayashi clearly has a 6-10 hotdog advantage every year I am going to see if my masticaters can even the playing field somehow since having an advantage is not fair.

Fortunately, the NFFC does not serve wings and there is no NFL action over Labor Day weekend. The 3RR would only be complicated to some on draft day. After that, you're free to do as you please.

Now pass the carrots and bleu cheese.

Now pass the carrots and bleu cheese. I'm not sure how many current NFFC participants you could lose by changing...but if you held the NFFC Main event on Friday/Friday Night (the day before WCOFF Main)...I'd guess you'd get quite a few WCOFF players to join. (Since they could just leave a day early to go to Vegas!)

[/QUOTE]Greg and Tom and the rest of their crew worked extremelly hard to get an identity to the NFFC. That includes having our draft on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. Furthermore, I am guessing the arrangements with the venues are solid relationships that work out year and year out during this particular Saturday.

I dont think we need to change our time slot and identity to suit the needs of a WCOFF participant. They have choices in high stakes fantasy football contests and hopefully the reliability of NFFC and the way things are handled here are 2 great bullets to have them see what the best game in town is all about.

Furthermore, as you can see, Greg is working with us all to find the best and most fair rules that can exist in a content of this magnitude. What else can you ask for ?

As one of those that actually did both events the time they were held on the same weekend, it made for a pretty grueling run and transportation challenge for the event organizers and participants. The NFFC and WCOFF events continue to grow, while being on alternate weekends with many folks to doing both already. I fear that the sub events would suffer from overlap if we were to go back to the NFFC/WCOFF being on the same weekend. Just my .02

We are now the only baseball game in town! :D
