Teams at full strength now, byes done...

This should be an interesting time to see what teams are like at their strongest. I personally feel I have a very deep team with 3-4 options that will be on my bench each week that are viable. So this is not a period of time I think my team has an advantage.

I am kind of unhappy with how the bye weeks went as I expected that to be where my team would really be at an advantage, especially in terms of head to head.

Outside of late season injury, stars resting or extreme bad matchups, depth is not overly helpful now...

Anyone foresee any positional changes that could have big impacts late in the season?

-Will Colts, if unbeaten, rest guys again or play it out full speed?

-will one of the RBBC's result in one stud during the stretch run? Malroney, Addai, D. williams, Bush, one of the Bell's, etc?

-Will we see any player have a huge drop off down the stretch?

-Will westbrook play the entire season or break down like usual?

gekko,

lets be honest, if I say the sky is blue, you are going to argue otherwise. You have this fixation with me and I have always been flattered.

Everyone knows depth is ALWAYS important as it relates to injury, that goes unspoken. But everyone being HONEST knows depth is LESS important NOW than it was during bye weeks when we all are losing top players from week to week... can't you be a little rational and honest once in a while even if by accident?

You saying my posts are unintelligent is, well.. again, flattering and laughable at the same time. You are the clown prince of this message board. If I cared as much as you do I could go through this board and come up with tons of hysterical posts by you that everyone is laughing about. You, on the other hand, will struggle to find ONE (that anyone other than you deems unintelligent..lol) from me.

Relax... calm down... whatever I did to rile you up, I am truly sorry for it...

Anyone out there care to talk about football?

Your right again Renman ...

Debth is no longer as importance as you lose your ability to use FA to make adjustments. People who wanted to increase the size of the rosters for this very reason ... are obviously dishonest about it ... they just wanted change for change's sake.

You are the only one who is honest about anything out here and no one is offended by being called dishonest buy someone as smart as you. You must be right about everything becase ... well ... your YOU.

Please continue to show us the way oh mighty one.

.....

I think I pretty much have summed up how you see the world. Good luck with that.

1. for the lucky and/or skillful owners that make the playoffs, they need to go 3 weeks with no free agent pickups.
2. what about top players that sit out the last week or two weeks of the season cause their teams have clinched
3. what about players that lose playing time due to non-performance

ya, you're right, "depth is not overly helpful now". muuhahahaha!!!

for pete's sake, please don't win the nffc. there couldn't be a bigger windbag than you. thanks.

Don't bring a logical argument into this Gekko, you're forgetting the following equations.

standard logic
if A=B, and B=C, then A=C

renman logic
if A=B, and B=C, then A doesn't equal C unless I "feel" it does, and if you were being HONEST you'd agree with me.

Hey,

Here they are.. the message board all-stars MAKING UP that I said depth is of NO IMPORTANCE when in reality I said it is not AS important as during bye week time...

Here I try to start a thread to talk about actual football due to the fact so much tenth grader stuff goes on in the other threads and the tenth grader mentality boys chase me here and bring their petty silliness with them...

Are there any guys out here who are more interested in talking about NFL FOOTBALL than indulging in petty teen level pissing contests on a message board?

every single educated fantasy football player knows that depth becomes LESS IMPORTANT after bye weeks are over...

-let me address the handful of actually football points gekko somehow was forced to address...

1-no one said depth DOES NOT MATTER now, it matters less than during bye week time. You made up that I said it does not matter.

2- the quality of free agents available now is minimal.

3- it is a fact depth matters more during bye week time.

I guess I should accept you guys are going to work as hard as possible to keep these threads about name calling and teen stuff...

Let me know when football becomes important to any of you again...lol

Actually, it is obvious that renman is correct regarding the final weeks of the regular season. He is not saying that depth is unimportant, just less important than it was during the bye weeks. Why would anyone disagree with this statement? Anyway, any player, including Westbrook could go down at anytime. I lost 2 of my three starting WR each of the last two weeks. That's the breaks, its luck, and to be honest...it is some of what makes the game fun. Now, that being said, I always try to remember when my team is being ravaged by injury...these are real people with real careers and real injuries. So, while I am disappointed that my team has suffered so many injuries...it is just a game for me, while it is real for the players! Of course, depth is important and may factor into the who wins. But, the team that wins will also probobly be lucky enough not to need their depth anyway. So, lets cut renman some slack....he was asking a legitimate question. The question (the way I see it is this)...is it the time of year to go with your basic roster and hope for the best or is there still time to find free agent gems?

Why would anyone disagree with this statement? Because it isn't necessarly accurate. I'll tell you why in a private PM for 50 bucks. Otherwise ... it is good that you agree with Renman.

Blue_Foot, Why no slack ?? because of the above statement. A differing (and in this case legit) opinon is being dishonest ?? LOL....
