Garrard is pretty bad but this is still a rather big surprise considering the timing. Luke McCown is the new Jacksonville QB although one has to believe Blaine Gabbert gets a chance to start at some point.
For MJD owners, the good news here is he's likely to get the ball upwards of 100 times a game now if he's healthy. The bad news is everyone and their mother will be gearing up to stop him even more since the Jags have, in my opinion, downgraded at QB.

Wow. So glad people kept snaking me on MIke Thomas right before I was going to pick him. Mercedes Lewis now close to worthless.
Indy should sign Garrard.

Hadn't heard any whisper of that at all! Was this completely out the blue?

Indy should sign Garrard. Agree with that. I'm not a Garrard fan but if Peyton's injury is serious I think they need to look into signing him.
I backed off Thomas too in my top league but it was primarily because I already had MJD and that was enough to deal with given how little I expect out of the Jacksonville offense. I couldn't bring myself to take two Jaguars so I passed on Thomas when I was looking for a WR3 and took my starting TE (Jimmy Graham) instead.

Full circle.
Does anybody else remember when Garard was installed over Leftwich right before the season?
Del Rio plays it pretty close to the vest.

With Manning out in Indy, this seemed to give both Houston and Jax a real shot at the playoffs. I guess the Jags thought if Indy can go without their QB, so can we. These wacks almost.....I said almost....make Al Davis seem rational.
Bye bye Jackie.....
