We are going to try to simplify the satellite schedule because we know we already have a lot of offerings now. All satellite leagues will be 14-team formats, 3RR/KDS, at the following price levels:
$125 Pay Top 3
$250 Pay Top 3
$500 Pay Top 3
League payouts were 80 percent last year and we'll at least match that this year and maybe better it!!
Stay tuned for more details. All satellite leagues will be held on our new NFFC draft software which will be unveiled in the next week. Geoff Stein and Tom Kessenich will take care of our satellite leagues and one or both of them will monitor every online draft. As I mentioned in another thread, we'll also provide Slow Drafts as soon as the software is ready.Today we decided that the 14-team satellite league format was very important to the success of the NFFC and we chose to stay with our bread and butter format. We have also decided not to host a 10-team Cutline Championship as previously announced for a number of reasons. We just feel like the 14-team format is what our customers are more interested in and now just wasn't the time to try to grow the 10-team format and the cutline format. There's definitely a market for that game, but now just wasn't the time for us to jump into it.
Instead, we'll concentrate on satellite leagues that pay only league prizes and with good payback percentages. Look for the list of offerings soon and let's kick off the satellite league season in good fashion. Enjoy the free mock draft software that will be live soon and enjoy the ADPs that will come with it. The software looks great and I can hardly wait to unveil it soon.
