Late Request for a Rules Change

I've been thinking about this one for a few years now, but for some reason I've waited until today to mention it.
I think that the prize money distribution for the top 4 is patently unfair. I believe that the "champion" gets an unreasonably high % of the prize money, when we all know that it is much harder to finish in places 2-4 than first place.
Greg -- how about $40k for the "champion" and $39k and $21k for the guys who do the real work and finish 2nd or 3rd?
It's not a deal-breaker for me, but I think it just makes the prize distribution a little more "fair" without overcompensating the "champion".
