2011 NFFC Signup List For Live Events

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Apr 28, 2011 9:43 am

We're happy to announce that the NFFC is returning for an eighth straight season with TWO Main Events, each with $100,000 grand prizes. The NFFC Classic returns with a $100,000 grand prize and our 12-team NFFC Primetime Main Event has been upgraded to a $100,000 grand prize as well. We began taking signups today for all of our 2011 offerings and I'll keep track of every single signup for the Live Events right here on this thread.

Our first official signup of 2011 was Tom Carbone of Harriman, New York, our 2010 NFFC Classic $100,000 champion. Tom has won back-to-back NFFC Classic Main Events and will try to be the first owner to ever win three straight Classic League titles. He's also trying to be the first owner to ever win TWO Classic overall titles. Tom is returning to New York on Saturday, Sept. 3rd and he leads off the list of current signups. Welcome back Tom, congrats on last year's championship, and best of luck in 2011.

Now let's get to the signups. Here is the current signup list for our 2011 NFFC Live Events:

2011 NFFC Signup List For Live Events

Just a heads up for those folks planning to draft in Las Vegas, I just finalized our space for both weekends at the Bellagio and although I can't officially announce that location yet, we have everything in place to return there this year. The first weekend drafts will be in the same location that we held the second weekend NFBC drafts in March, with the food in the foyer and separate rooms on both sides to host 6-7 leagues. This will give an intimate feel to the NFFC Classic and Primetime drafts, while providing a great area for the buffets and drinks.

The second weekend we have more than enough space set aside for Friday and Saturday in the Grand Ballroom. We also have space on Thursday night for an NFL Viewing Party if there's interest in that. We'd have to work with the Bellagio on that, but that is an option. We have plenty of time to get all of this right and time to get our room block in order, but I like what we have for this September in Las Vegas.

Look for more details soon. Again, plan accordingly and let's hope the NFL lockout can be lifted soon. LET'S PLAY BALL!!!

Time to bring back the candle...

Excellent news on Bellagio -- see you for Weekend 2 out in Vegas. I'm booking my tickets as soon as the labor situation is settled.

I agree, it's time for another Fisher party in Las Vegas!! I'll see if the boys can make it out to Sin City this year and bring their business contacts with them. :D I think we'd all enjoy the "camaraderie" of another Fisher party.

Probably not a financially sound decision, because as usual the path for me cashing out in any of these leagues must lead through Glenn first. ;)

Still waiting for that first KoQ "off-year"...not holding my breathe on that one.
