Congratulations to Tom Carbone of Harriman, New York as he is our 2010 NFFC Classic champion and the winner of $100,000. Tommypickles finished with 618.93 points in the Championship Round to edge Ante Meich by 10.56 points for the overall title. CONGRATS TOMMY!!!
Tom has competed in the NFFC for the last three years and finished 23rd overall during his debut season of 2008. He finished second in his league that year. He followed that up by winning his Classic league last season. This year he led a very tough New York League 1 in total points and won the league title in the league playoffs.

Tom Carbone Wins NFFC Classic Title And $100,000
For the record, Tom Carbone finished second behind Dave Cushard during the regular season points race with 1,965.95 points. He entered the Championship Round with 151.22 points and then added 133.25 points in Week 14, which was 24th highest among the 70 Classic Championship Round teams. Tommypickles then posted 174.05 points in Week 15, which was the second highest total, and then 160.40 points in Week 16, which was the seventh highest total. That consistency earned Tom the overall title with 618.93 points. Congrats Tommy.
Oh, and Tom drafted from the sixth spot in New York League 1. Interestingly, runnerup Ante Meich also was in New York League 1 and he had the first pick. Ante's Round 2 won the h2h title with a 10-3 record but started the Championship round 18.01 points behind Tom, which turned out to be the difference in the $100,000 grand prize.
