I find it interesting that Dave Gerczak is the only "big money" winner in this group. Consistency does not seem to be the father of the "grand" champions in the NFFC yet.

I was thinking the same thing.
I was surprised to find that there is no Grand Prize winner amongst the Classic repeat league champions.
A few other names I would have expected to see on this list are Glenn Schroter, Billy Wasosky, Shawn Childs, Lou Tranquilli amongst several others.

Tom: I usually don't respond but: a "reversed
reception" (4 days later), cost me a game last year.
This would have resulted in MY 3rd Classic Championship.Ouch (it still -hurts)!LOL

I'm the only team to make it to the championship 5x in 6 seasons (1st, 3- 2nd, 3rd) but have yet to "win the lottery" in the championship round.
If I can keep this pace up, it has to happen SOME TIME......doesn't it???
(actually it doesn't)
Way to go Jules!!

It's threads like these that bring it all flooding back :/ 2.05 points from being an overall champ from the above classic list...
Fully intending to take my third league title in 2010.

And I'm still pissed at you, Billy, for 2006 and you know why. Yes, I have tried to forget Week 13 of that year too.

While the flood gates are open.
How about finish third in main event league.
Make consolation round.
Win consolation round.
Score more points than anyone in the Championship Round.
Win 5,000
Next year rules changed to allow 3rd team into Championship Round
Win Main Event, Draft Champions, and Auction in same year
Next year rules changed to award teams with multiple live event wins.
Always just ahead of the times.

We've only been in the NFFC 2 years, but we're 2 for 3 in mains.
Someday, we aspire to join this esteemed group of great people. Congrats to all!
