Ten Things I'll Be Watching This Week

We're at the quarter pole of the fantasy season (how crazy is that?) and things are starting to take shape as far as players and teams. With that in mind, here are 10 things I'm most interested in seeing this week. Feel free to comment and add the top items on your list for this week.
1. Will the Bills' defense suffocate the Rams as every other team has done thus far or will they choke on a golden matchup the way they did last week against Oakland?
2. Is there any chance at all Trent Green makes the Rams even a little bit better?
3. How will Aaron Rodgers and the Packers bounce back on the road against a scrappy Tampa Bay team. By the way - if I was in Vegas, I'd be all over the Packers in this game.
4. Are the 49ers for real? Winning at New Orleans (even though the Saints have some injury issues) would be a big way to prove it.
5. Will Ben Roethlisberger snap out of his funk at home against a suddenly ferocious Baltimore defense or he will continue to be one of this year's biggest fantasy busts?
6. Even though they're on a bye, I'm interested to see if the Patriots give up another touchdown to Ronnie Brown.
7. Will Matt Schaub and Derek Anderson finish what they start on Sunday?
8. Will Felix Jones and Chansi Stuckey score again?
9. Which RB will prevail against a tough defense - Adrian Peterson or Chris Johnson?
10. How many receptions will Terrell Owens get after catching only two passes last week against Green Bay? I'm guessing he has at least two receptions on Dallas' first series.

Tom,
In regards, to SNF Packers-Cowboys, Something that Michaels and Madden never commented on but...
Maybe it's just me, but I thought the Packers offense became a lot simpler without James Jones and Ruvell Martin. J Nelson has potential to be another solid receiver drafted by TT but he was the #3 WR against Dallas. Don't you think that the Pack became much easier for Dallas to defend once they couldn't run anymore 4 WR (or 5 WR) sets against the Cowboys after Jones left the game with his wrist/knee injuries??
With only 3 WRs, it seemed like the offense went from explosive to ordinary. Anyways, I just think the Packers give a Def a lot more to prepare for during the week and on Sunday when they have 5 healthy (and very good) WRs.
Anyways, in regards to the questions,
4. Niners will look real again this week against a bad def
6. Ronnie Brown scores again this weekend against the Pats- guaranteed
7. Schaub remains the starter, D Anderson benched
9. AP shut down, C Johnson's best chance will be catching the football in the open field.

1. The Bills will score 30+ and win for fun.
2. The Rams lose worse than ever with Green.
3. The Pack will play fine but won't keep up in the weekend's surprise high scoring matchup. The lock in Vegas is over 42.5
4. SF is not really for real - but they will run the ball and keep Brees off the field. SF plus the points and the UNDER...
5. Ben is over rated and the Ravens D has healed.
6. Owens will freak soon. They club house knows they have to feed the tiger - before he turns on them. 9 catches 143 yards. 2 TD's. And sadly, he'll still be outdone by Brandon Marshall (who everyone in the NBC NFFC seems to have except me!)
Miller Bros. - Ranked 8th overall.....

I look at it like this : the pack beat Minni , who is ranked 14th in Defence and Detroit who is ranked next to last. When they played a top ten D in the Cowboys , they lost at HOME. Now they are playing a top 5 D , the Bucs on the road , My personal opinion is the Bucs will Rank # 1 in Defence at seasons end. I'll lay down all $64.25 that i have and put it on Tampa

Richard, I do think there is a downgrade from Jones to Nelson but I think the biggest problem is McCarthy abandoned the run and went with too many 3- and 4-WR sets. I thought Grant was running well and the Packers needed to establish balance offensively. Once McCarthy went away from that, it made the game more difficult for Green Bay to win.

Maybe that is what made them easier to defend is the fact that they became 1 dimensional.

NFC Defenses better than Tampa in no particular order (and the stats show it as season's end):
1. Dallas
2. NYG
3. Philly
4. St Louis
5. kidding on #4
6. Green Bay although the secondary is thin and without A Harris this one is debatable.
of course D Day I'm usually wrong but right now I'd put Tampa 5th in the NFC .

The Bucs are at home and that will help but I was not impressed with how they fared against the Bears last week. And the Packers have considerably more talent on offense than the Bears have.
As far as talented NFC defenss, don't forget about the Vikings and Seahawks.
