The quietest day for the NFFC

Today is the quietest day of the year for the NFFC. That other event is taking place today. The one with batters and pitchers and HGH and all that ( )
People are waking up, like it's Christmas morning, with anticipation. I can't help but be a little jealous...lol
But I still see a few of the Diehards popping their heads in here today...At least I know I'm not the only football nut...
This is like the day where the boss leaves the office. HELLO? Is anybody there?

After doing a few satellites for that "other sport", I admit that I too am a little jealous, and would love to have been a part of the fun.
That being said, when is that auction for the Krause magazine and the first NFFC satellite scheduled???

Billy, I'm ready for the "re-do" of the Auction...I still gaze at my roster for that league and wonder what the helll happened?
You have to admit, I had some roster, leaving an auction...
D.Brees
Larry Johnson
Sammy Morris
Steve Smith
Plaxico Burress
Wes Welker
Antonio Gates
Green Bay Defense
INSTERT FLEX HERE>>>LOL
C'Mon! On another given year, I would have dominated. The MoJo just wasn't a go-go in 2007.

John,
I helped start a "HALF SEASON" NFBC satellite, and then bowed out because I just don't love baseball like I love football. I don't want to put the time and effort into something I just don't have the heart for...Good Luck next year if you play.
P.S. I'm sending you a PM...
Marc

My roster was very similar to yours in a lot of ways (one RB, stud WR's, etc.)
M.Bulger
W.McGahee
T.Holt
T.Housh
H.Ward (D.Mason)
J.Shockey (D.Clark)
Made the playoffs, but got WHOOPED by the eventual champ- RI Workhorse!

In AFFL and Jungle, how did you do?

Made the playoffs in all 5 of my NFFC leagues that had them, but as everyone knows  , I couldn't get a first place finish LAST year.
AFFL, I finished 7th overall in one league (Silver), and finished 15th overall (I think) in the Gold. Unfortunately I finished 2nd in BOTH of those 12 team leagues
.
Jungle I finished 3rd in my league, and was 3 pts from the championship game. Of course, I would have dominated the championship game had I made it, but that is the way it goes.
All in all a good year (won more than I invested), but not what I have done in the past or expect from myself.

I could have drank one beer during this past football season, and then returned it for the 5 cent deposit, and I would have made more money than I did in fantasy football this year....LMAO
