Likely bad news for STL owners.

Rams LT Orlando Pace will miss the season with a torn right labrum, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

The more I think about this, is it REALLY that big of a deal. In the past two seasons Pace has missed 23 of 32 games (almost 75%).

The Rams offense moved the ball well without him, so I still think they will be OK..

just not great! ;)

just not great! ;) the are also missing their backup LT to injury. when your LT goes down, it is never a good thing. bulger's injury rating just went from a 4 out of 10 to a 6 out of 10.

[/QUOTE]They are thinking of moving Alex Barron to LT, which would DEFINITELY be the smart move.

Mid season maybe, but there has only been ONE game. I know they have been practicing together for over a month, but I think it could be worse.

The Eli news takes the cake as "worst week 1 injury" IMO.

The loss of Pace is not good for the Rams offense in general, but I think it will hurt Steven Jackson more than Marc Bulger.
