I wasn't sure what to do with the TE position...my initial thought was to wait even longer on it
but then I just decided to take two guys I really like...Hernandez was a swing for the fences pick in the 7th
I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on a Gates, Witten, Clark, Finley, Davis. They always seem to go too early for my tastes
With this being my first 14-team draft, perhaps my thinking is flawed here.

I think you're thinking is dead-on. After the top 3 or 4, the point differential is small between TEs.
Was in your draft. Well done. Surprised you went Evans/Hernandez instead of a QB. Some strong ones were left at that point (I do like Bradford)

I'm slow to come around to QBs having more value here (vs WCOFF format)
old drafting habits die hard I guess
you have a nice receiving corp....I love to see how people take different approaches to building a team.
I was going to take Graham late but I waited too long

Alot of the strategy is necessitated by draft spot. I fully expected to take a RB with my second round pick. None of the 4 I hoped would be there were there. The one that was there that shouldn't have been there - I didn't want. So, i took a WR. I don't like my team, but who does in a 14 team draft.

qb - bradford will be servicable, but likely finish year 12-15. u probably losing a lot of points to teams who got better qb's like ryan and big ben (esp if they fell in the draft, which i'm hearing is becoming the norm this year). where did they go 5th or 6th round?
rb - love charles where u got him.
blount is again serviceable, however ceiling is limited in that he might finish year with single digit catches.
wr - dez is THE wiseguy play this year. if you want him, u got to get him in the 2nd. he' set up for a POWERHOUSE season. nice one!
manningham - nice pick there. i wonder how the lose of s.smith will impact nicks/manningham. obviously most people think it will positively impact them. probably correct, however, maybe more coverage will be rolling their way?
m.thomas - probably 2 rounds too early. he's a perfect 7th rounder to slot in.
l.evans - another wiseguy play. his value is skyrocketing! could be the deep threat that will take flacco to elite status.
hernandez - like him too. good pick.
good luck.
