That line was actually started by Perry Van Hook who said he wished the NFFC would pick draft spots live on the day of the draft and as your name got picked you went to your draft spot ready to sit down and draft. In other words, "Shut Up, Sit Down and Draft!!"
Well, I want to do a mock draft that way early in June as we prepare for the upcoming satellite league season. We might need some testing for the software and what better way to do that than host an NFFC Mock Draft. We won't play this out, we won't even tell you what your draft spot is until a few minutes before we jump into the draft room and we won't reveal the picks of individual owners. But we will showcase some of the early rounds and create a discussion on the message boards to talk about the players going in each round.
We might even do a couple of these to test out the software before going live with our Slow Drafts and NFFC '60s in early June. I don't know what night of the week we'll do these, but I definitely am looking for 12-14 volunteers to help out. Tom and I will draft as well and these will be 14-team, 20 rounds with the clock set for 75 seconds per pick. This will likely be done after Memorial Day weekend, so be flexible if you can.
If you have any interest, put your name down here and the best night of the week. We might even do a 14-team and a 12-team Mock Draft. Looking for owners who are ready and prepared for this. Again, we won't reveal the owners' picks or even where they drafted, but we will list the early round-by-round results. Should be fun.
Now, who wants to Shut Up, Sit Down AND DRAFT?!!!
