To Seattle. Jay Glazer reporting that the trade is for a 2011 fourth-round pick and a conditional pick in 2012.

I hate to say I told you so but it doesn't surprise me that the Packers refused to part with this very modest price to get Lynch. GM Ted Thompson hates to part with top draft picks. If he wouldn't part with one to get two future Hall of Famers in Randy Moss and Tony Gonzalez he wasn't going to do it to get Lynch.

John Kuhn and 1 yard and a cloud of dust should be fun to watch.

OMG Seattle of all places with all the teams in need of RB help, they send him to a team that actually has a couple of servicable ones plus the added enigma that is JJ lol.

The Seahawks have been trying to get Lynch for months. I think he represents a nice upgrade for them. I like Forsett but Lynch is more talented in my opinion.

Huge fantasy boost for Fred Jackson. With the Bills easing Spiller into things, Jackson should take over as the lead RB. We saw last season how productive he can be. Obviously, a huge hit for Forsett's fantasy value. Kuhn and Jackson stay the same in Green Bay. Start Kuhn at your own risk and start Jackson if you think the "Hostel" movies are comedies.

That is amazing. Maybe Seattle will now turn around and trade off Jones or Washington (unlikely given his return abilities) to someone in need of RB depth.

Odd move.

Odd move. U might be right Renman. Now they might unload J Jones to the packers so they'd have another lame RB like BJax

The Packers are the obvious choice. Some other teams that could be in the market for Lynch:

New England
Seattle
Tampa Bay

Each of those teams has a glaring need for a lead back and Lynch would be an upgrade for all three teams. The Bills reportedly turned down a fourth-round pick during the draft and a third and a player as well. Unless they bring their demands down, it stands to reason they'll want at least a third-round pick now.

The trade deadline is Oct. 19.
