Week 4 Thoughts

Here are some random thoughts with all but one game this week now in the books:
Anybody still question the reason why the Bears traded for Jay Cutler?
Props to the Broncos. I still think Kyle Orton stinks but their defense is legit. Oh, and if you haven't dropped Eddie Royal already, it's safe to do so now.
Welcome to the end zone Randy Moss. It missed you.
The Redskins are bad, people. They're really bad.
If you started the 49ers or Saints defenses this week, drinks are on you.
Drew Brees hasn't thrown a TD in two games and the Saints are 4-0. If that doesn't scare the rest of the NFC, it should.
I think we're inching very close to calling Carolina's Steve Smith "the other Steve Smith."
Remember when the Chargers and Steelers had good defenses?
Speaking of the Steelers, I think Willie Parker may have been Wally Pipped last night.
Peyton Manning's pretty good. You know how I know this? He's opened the season with four straight 300-yard passing games and nobody's talking much about it because they pretty much expect it from him.
Mike Sims-Walker. Just say his name. It feels good, doesn't it?
We should no longer call the Raiders or Rams professional football teams. It's insulting to the real professional football teams.
I'm thinking the Browns may have found something with Mohamed Massaquoi.
Same with the Titans and Kenny Britt.
Marion Barber was healthy, running hard and looking good, so what do the Cowboys do? They give him seven snaps in the second half of a close game they eventually lost to Denver. That's smart coaching.
LaDainian Tomlinson sure looks done to me.
I know the Ravens lost to the Patriots, but they are a good football team. They will move the ball on any defense this season. Joe Flacco's coming of age.
Don't tell anybody, but Shonn Greene got some carries this week and looked good. Keep that one under the radar for now.
That Terrell Owens experiment is working out great in Buffalo, isn't it?
Did you see Steve Slaton this week? This, my friends, is why you don't panic when it comes to talented RBs. Slaton was way too good to underachieve all season long.
I still think Sammy Morris is the best RB the Patriots have. He does more than Fred Taylor and is a stronger runner than Kevin Faulk. I think the Patriots need to use him more.
