For The Life Of Me...

Glenn,

I assume you're talking about nffc scoring here.

The problem I see is first at QB. Palmer has been consistently very average this year. The WR's are definitely strong even though Smith and Holmes have been very up and down. Now if you could have started 4 of those RB's today this team would have had a huge week.

I think it's a good team - very deep. It's probably stronger today than earlier in the year with the way Forsett and Charles are playing.

How about this 12 teamer..

Warner
Cassel

S. Jackson
Addai
Maroney
Julius Jones
Cartright

Wayne
Colston
Burleson
M. Floyd
S. Moss

Carlson
Heap

kicker

defense

This team wont sniff the playoffs in the Primetime.

Have a top producing QB

Two solid producing RB's

2 stud WR's and another (Burleson) who was one of the better WR values this year.

Team is dead.

weird year.

Palmer, Carson
Campbell, Jason

Jackson, Steve
Forsett, Justin
Bush, Reggie
Charles, Jamaal
Maroney, Laurence
Jackson, Fred
Bush, Michael
Hilliard, Lex

Smith, Steve (CAR)
Marshall, Brandon
Holmes, Santonio
Burleson, Nate
Evans, Lee
Jones, James

Winslow, Kellen
Lewis, Marcedes

DST, Indianapolis

Bironas, Rob Wayne pretty much summed it up. Palmer is not an elite QB, and S.Smith, Holmes, Burleson, and even Marshall in spots have been very inconsistent. You MUST have a "go to stud" in a 12 teamer unless you are lights out everywhere else.

I am suffering the same fate, as my WR's are Ward, Driver, and the "flavor of the week".

And I have Peyton at QB. ;)

Steve Smith is a killer.

Renman,

I like your RB's and your top 3 WR's but other than that this team is somewhat lacking depth. I do have to differ with you in the Warner is a below average QB this year. (In a 12 team format the top 6 QB's would be above average and anything less than that would be less than average.) Warner is 9th in QB scoring through last week.

You are getting killed at TE this year as Carlson has only socred over 11 once this year. It's not a bad team but I suspect that the QB and moreso the TE scoring kept this team out of the playoffs.

I have perhaps THE stud of 2009 and my team is toast:

Warner

C. Johnson
S. Jackson
T. Jones
Mendenhall

Boldin
Owens
A Gonz (dead)
Chambers
Washington
(and a bunch of other scrubs)

Winslow
Keller

Longwell

No D

You miss on a pick and you're done in this league.

Here is my 12 teamer.

QB: Warner

RB: Forte, McCoy, Moreno, Buckhalter, Forsett, Fred Jackson

WR: Roddy White, Ochocinco, Kevin Walter

TE: Oslen

What did this team do for me this year??

Last place.

In fact, last week my bench had a legal starting lineup and it scored 105.6 points while my starting lineup put up 105.55. Having lots of decent options just doesn't get it done in a 12 teamer. You gotta have lots of firepower. I'm definitely lacking that.

Wayne Yea, those RB's hurt as Forte has been a train wreck this year. However with Forsett and Fred-Jax, you may make some noise in the consolation round.

Here is mine. Loved it coming out of the draft, but there were some obvious swing and misses.

QB- Peyton Manning

RB- Steven Jackson, LT, Hightower

WR- Ward, Driver, Avant, Edwards, Mass o ****

TE- Keller, Boss (had Daniels)

I am middle of the pack in points, but I think this team has some potential if the right guys get hot in the consolation round.

Colts,

Warner has the 6th highest points per game average this year. He has been solid. I have more WR depth, I just didn't list guys like Bryant Johnson or Mike Wallace.. or guys like Laurent Robinson or others who got hurt.

I know why the team isn't making the playoffs... I am just saying that on paper this team looks better than some teams who may have scored 100 more points. It is what it is right?

Better luck next year...lol
