When I drafted this team on paper I thought I had a team that would compete
qb ryan/fitzpatrick
rb a peterson
rb t hightower /addai
wr d bowe
wr d jackson
wr r wayne
te o daniels /k winslow
d pittsburgh
k rackers
flex gafney/bess
I think I still like this team . Did not see it as 1 and 6. I am ready to draft for next year,any 2012 slow drafts ready yet?

2 questions.

where are you in points and how many times have you started Ryan over Fitzpatrick and got it wrong.

900 +, ryan 5 starts,fitzpatrick2

IMHO, your WRs were weak from the get-go.

i had bowe 9th, jackson 19th and wayne 16th (still thought even without manning a good wr gets his.....wrong on that call)

i would have said your rb's were weak. peterson is a stud but then you had two flex guys at best with addai and hightower.

what ya gonna do.....still a lot of season left

just trying to play spoiler the rest of the way,I was hoping to get consistent flex numbers out of winslow,gafney or bess.
as of right now bowe is 6th,d jax 17th and wayne 20th man you were pretty close on your projections as of right now.

I had Wayne 8 (obviously expecting Manning's early return), DeSean 18 and Bowe 21. By AVERAGE PPG (can't use total due to byes), DeSean is 21st and Bowe is 9th. But I suspect Bowe would have had less stats if Charles hadn't gone down so early.

Just doing a quick look at your team, and nothing personal, just the analysis...the team doesn't look all that great to me. Peterson...good pick, good year. No problem there. Hightower - bad pick, had only 2 good games all last season and went to a team with a coach well known for using interchangeable running backs. Bowe, Jackson, Wayne.... I got trapped with Wayne also, bad luck there with Manning out but bad luck means bad production. Never been a Desean Jackson guy as he gives you about 5 or 6 good games a season but disappears in plenty of other ones. Bowe - good season, on pace for 80 catches. QB's, Ryan is a disappointment but as one of the other posters said you could have gone with Fitzpatrick in a couple more games. Your team should probably have a couple more wins, but I don't see a championship with this gang. Just my 2 cents.....

and as I stated earlier didnt think this was a championship team but just thought it was better than 1 and 6.
fell into that r wayne pick at 2 didnt want him but thought manning was only going to be out a little while,still felt as if he would get 12-15 points a week until manning came back.then bowe and jackson.hightower was there at at round 5 pick 11(my stupid thinking was how can I pass on a starting rb this late).Next year it will be wr,wr,wr,te,te,qb, k, d and then a stinking rb.thanks for the analysis.
