TO ALL OWNERS DRAFTING FROM THE 4 - 14 SPOTS IN THE THREE CITIES:

DO NOT LET EITHER PEYTON MANNING OR ANTONIO GATES SLIP BACK TO ANY OWNER DRAFTING IN THE FIRST THREE SPOTS OF THE DRAFT OR IT WILL BE THE DEATH OF YOU AND THE DEATH OF US ALL. THANK YOU.

Sorry, bad joke...was messing with the guy suggesting who others should pick...bottom line is, if you don't want someone to pick manning, than grab him...while i'm in agreement and believe a 1-3 pick and manning will be tough to beat, i can't rely on others to pick him...i'm sure at least one team will get manning and lj, sa, or lt...we'll have to see where it takes them.

manning has no problem with shoulder...my prediction about 4,100 yards and 35 TDs

Listen up Good-Fellas...... Look at Gumps numbers in '04...49 touchdowns and over 4500 yards....... '05...... he takes what they call a " Breather ", if you take the time to research what all-pros do after a " Breather ", you will find that a high percentage of times they come back with a " Big-Bounce " ...... I would not be at all surprised if he surpasses his "04 numbers. That being the case and the fact that he has more protection than " Fort Knox ", After ... Alexander and Tomlinson, I think P.M. is the Pick at # 3..... Now I'll give you all a minute to stop laughing, but think about it now..... those 2 backs are the ONLY ones that have put up their numbers consistently for 3 or more years straight..... Portis is hurt, James is on a new team....Tiki is surrounded by multiple options and Jacobs dosen't help either. I really don't see how anyone can let the Big-Man, slip lower than seven, me personally, I would take him at three.....Good-Luck...Everyone... and have Fun...!!! ____________STATISTICS

A lot of smart people have forecasted Peyton Manning to follow Dan Marino's lead exactly 20 years later. Check out Marino's 1984-86 numbers:

1984
362-564 (64.2%), 5084 yds, 48 TD, 17 INT

1985
336-567 (59.3%), 4137 yds, 30 TD, 21 INT

1986
378-623 (60.7%), 4746 yds, 44 TD, 23 INT

--------------------

Now check out Peyton's stats

2004
336-497 (67.6%), 4557 yds, 49 TD, 10 INT

2005
305-453 (67.3%), 3747 yds, 28 TD, 10 INT

2006

Manning played on a team with a bad defense when he put up those record breaking numbers.

Now that they are better, the offense can be more conservative...
