Other Leagues - AFFL?

Post by jsferenc » Wed Aug 25, 2004 10:48 am

Does anybody here know anything about the AFFL competition? I signed up for that league prior to finding the NFFC and I'm wondering if anybody else has experience with it. It has been a very different experience than NFFC so far. I was told that they're not full, yet they will not release any info on how many people are participating. The chat section is virtually empty with minimal activity. It has made me appreciate the activity and communication of the NFFC members and staff, but I'm also beginning to question the other league. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The only thing I know about AFFL is that they have a blonde in a small bikini on the rototimes.com homepage.

Its down to the wire and I'd bet they have fallen somewhat short of their 1800 team target. As we've learned here, if they ain't talkin, they ain't signing people up.

I hope your credit card hasn't been charged.

JSF, if they give you a refund, I suggest finding a way to get to New York, Chicago or Vegas for one or more of the drafts that the NFFC is having. You won't find better service.

Diesel,

I'm already in the NFFC! Not only did I join the main event in Vegas, I'm also in the Draft Masters league and the Gekko Invitational(Position 14, must be rookie hazing!)

JSF, I'm glad to see you're in...Good Luck...But if you're in those other 3, you really should consider doing the Auction too. If you're right on most of your picks, you'll regret not participating in the Auction too.
